It felt like my heart shattered into pieces.

"I told you this would have to happen eventually, Alona. Don't make this any harder than what it has to be," I held my heart as I stared into space, shocked.

"Please," He held my face in his hands, forcing me to look him in the eyes. He frowned sadly and wiped my fallen tears. "You can't cry... you..." His voice cracked.

"You can't, baby please."

"I didn't think this would happen, fuck!" I was in a state of shock. I mean, what did I expect? This kind of relationship never lasts forever. Why did I have to get myself involved in him? From the moment I woke up in his bed, in his arms, I knew something was going to happen and I knew I'd be the first one to fall.

He was just so charming and he treated me so good.

I couldn't help but fall.

I just didn't know loving someone this much could hurt so bad.

"I'm sorry," I sniffed and slid my hand over his beating heart. He almost leaned into my touch, brushing my hair away. "I'm sorry if I did something or said some—"

"No, no! It's not you, I promise because you could never do any harm to me. A-And I never wanted to do any harm to you and here I am. So no, baby it's not you."

"Then..." I cried softly. "Then why are you doing this?"

"Because you'll graduate soon and you'll be on your
own. Away." I scoffed at his stupid dumb excuse.

"That's a stupid excuse and I d-don't believe you. You can't do this. Why are you doing this?" He wiped my tears but it didn't help. I was a mess and I don't think I would stop. He was hurting and breaking my heart.

I didn't understand why.

Why couldn't we just try to make this work? Yeah, I'd like to go to college but I wanted to be with him. We're allowed to be together now. It's not fair. Did he not like me anymore? I just wanted a real answer and no excuses.

"I didn't want this. This wasn't supposed to happen..." he let me go. I frowned while he stared at me.

"Alona I told you. You knew this would happen so why are you still here trying? Why are you so attached to me?" Wow. That almost sounded like a gloat.

"Me? attached to you?" I scoffed out loud.

"Staying outside of my house like a madwoman? That seems pretty attached to me," I stared at him like he was talking crazy which he was. How dare he even!?

"You were ignoring me Levi! all I wanted to do was talk and now out of nowhere you're saying we can't be together anymore? Did someone talk to you or?"

"Who would I talk- okay look... we aren't together."

"Don't you think I know that? But I thought... I thought maybe..." lifting my gaze, I met his eyes with a certain look. He knew what I meant. But he still denied and shook his head. "Well, you thought wrong, Alona..."
