My eyes rolled into the back of my head at the romance scene playing on my laptop screen. I didn't know what I was watching. Netflix turned on something random and I had no energy to see what the hell they had me watching, but of course it had to be a romance movie.

The couple kissed like they were gonna stay together forever, like they missed each other and I couldn't help the scoff that flew past my lips.

"It's bullshit. He's gonna leave you, they all do. Best friend or no best friend," I shake my head at the screen as they began taking each other's clothes off.

Aggressively I might add.

"See... now just fuck you," I click off the movie, slamming my laptop shut and tossing it off my lap.

"Okay I went to the furthest pharmacy there was since it seemed like I recognized almost everyone at all of the others... but I got you two just in case," Dani burst through my bedroom causing me to raise an eyebrow.

"How'd you even get in?"

"Really? That's what you're thinking right now? I stole your key," she took it from her pocket and tossed them beside me. Sitting up, I take the plastic bag from her.

"Thanks, Dani," I mumbled sadly.

"Hey," she sat beside me and linked our arms together. "It's gonna be okay. Because you've been through a lot."

"But what if it's not? What if I am...?"

"Then you're not alone. You have me, Eli-"

"You're gonna go off to college soon, Dani, and I don't think I have much of Eli anymore. He won't even look at my text messages. It feels like he's done with me."

"He's not. He loves you, you're his best friend, the only person who stood by him when he was going through the fight with his parents. The divorce? It was hella bad, really bad actually and then the moving out?"

"He can't just say sayonara to all of that. Just because he's not here now doesn't mean he'll be gone forever. I mean, he just stupidly overheard that his lifelong best friend might be pregnant and he had no idea."

"I know... I just feel like he'll hate me to the
extreme if he finds out who I've been with..."

"You make it sound like it's that bad. Is it?"

"You probably wouldn't think so because you're Dani, you'd be proud of me," I chuckle and she shrugs.

"Probably but not if you don't tell me."

I sigh shakily and stand up to pace my room. It felt like I'd vomit any second if I didn't just spill the beans.

"Loni just tell me. It's me, I'd never judge you."

"Um, okay," I smacked my dry lips together, my throat dry as well. "Y-You know our new English teacher..."

"No!" She knew immediately and stood up.
