"Hi..." I said breathlessly as I spotted Eli on the bottom step. I was out of breath from running from the car to the house. There were absolutely no parking spots in front of the house so I ran like those cheesy romance movies. A cramp started to hurt my side but I covered it up as I tossed my things on the couch and sat down.

"Are you still not talking to me?" I sucked in a breath, tired as ever. Eli hopped up from the step and headed towards me. I was scared. He wasn't saying anything.

Would he yell at me? Tell me to get out?

"Hey," he called to get my attention. Hesitantly, I looked up at him afraid of his facial expressions expression.

But surprisingly, he just stared at me with the softest expression and that made me sigh in relief as he got down on his knees in front of me and grabbed my hands. "Are you okay?" I tilted my head.

"Yes. Why wouldn't I be?" I twisted a little due to the cramp getting worse. I didn't miss the way Eli glanced at my stomach before he looked back at me with uneasiness. An exhausted sigh left my lips.

"I still don't know. That's why I came home."

He nodded and gulped.

"I'm scared to E." I'm terrified.

"I'm sorry, for abandoning you in your time of need, I'm sorry for hurting you because I was angry. It's not fair to you. I should've heard your side of the story."

Salty tears escaped my eyes as I sobbed quietly.

"I feel so alone right now so please don't ever leave me with that feeling again," he nodded rapidly as I jumped into his arms like I hadn't seen him in a millennium.

"You're gonna leave again after I tell you the truth." We pulled from our hug. He just stared at me while I wiped my tears and gathered all my courage to tell everything.

"Bro I'm not leaving you. That was my first mistake."

"I...I..." my eyes went everywhere but him.

"I slept with our English teacher more than once. We met the night Dani and I went out and I promise you it was supposed to be a one night stand, back then I didn't know who he was but we couldn't keep our hands to ourselves and now I'm in love with him but he doesn't feel the same and now everything's a giant mess." There I said it. All in one breath.

I stared at Eli, watching all of his mood swings. They were everywhere and my heart beat a mile and my body was shaking. I've never been more scared in my life. I'd pass out if it were my father I'm telling.

He didn't say anything. He just stared blankly at me before dropping my hands and getting up. I cried softly, thinking he'd just leave me again but he didn't.

Instead, he paced back and forth.

"I know," he finally spoke, surprising me.

"Y-You know? H-How? When?"

"The night you came into my room drunk. You told
me before you passed out," I saw his fist-shaking.
