He stared, I stared, we stared. He was shocked, I was shocked, we both were shocked. My heart sank and dropped to the ground as those familiar green eyes stared back at me. His eyes roamed my body for a brief second, jaw clenched before looking back at me. I dropped Dani's arm, fidgeting with my fingers.

It felt like years we've been staring before the bell rang, signaling the tardy bell and class starting. My breath hitched as reality hit me in the chest hard.

I slept with my new teacher.

Panic was all I felt. I wanted to leave and never return. I gave him a questionable look but he only shook his head before breaking our eye contact.

My heart sank a bit.

He's suddenly regretting everything.

"Told you," Dani whispered in my ear, breaking my thoughts. I let out a shaky breath and decided to sit down, way in the back. I'd sometimes sit in the front, but I don't think I will be anytime soon now.

I sat two rolls away from Dani, noticing all the seats were taken. My eyes never left Levi as he grabbed a broken up piece of chalk and wrote his name on the board in cursive writing. He turned back around.

His eyes looked at everyone before they landed on me as he spoke, "Afternoon, I'm Mr. Walker. Your new English teacher," His voice boomed throughout the class making all the girls giggle and smile at him dreamily.

I gripped the edges of the medal grey table, thoughts running wild throughout my mind. I felt scared.

"I heard what happened to your last teacher, sorry about that. He deserves the time he was given," Levi said, licking his lips and clenched his jaw.

The realization hit me once again.

"Since it's the middle of the year and I'm new, we'll start off with something easy. I want to get to know all of you before we learn anything," He grabbed a stack of papers. I watched his every move.

"It's just a little question survey, asking random questions. For example, your name, interest for this class, age, etc," He shrugged, glancing at me.

I bit my lip hard as he emphasized the word age.

He began passing out the papers and continued talking about lectures we'll be learning, but my mind was somewhere else. I got nervous as he got closer and closer to me. He would give me a few glances as he talked and I panicked. He's seriously regretting everything we did, Everything. I just know it.

My heart raced as he got to me last, taking his time with handing me a paper. His eyes stared at me as I avoided his intense stare. "And your name?"
