"Your sink lights up to the color of the temperature it's on?!" Alona stepped out of my bedroom bathroom, her mouth wide open in shock. I stared at her as she gaped and smiled widely, finding her adorable. "Sure does," I reply and she huffs.

"I envy that!" She folded her arms and pouted as I was laid down across my bed, my head leaning against the headboard, arms behind my head as I watched her in amusement.

I could just stare at her all day.

"And you know what I envy?" She raised her eyebrow curiously as I held my hand out for her. She walked over and I grabbed her hand, pulling her on top of me. She laid her head on my chest as I sighed.

"I envy all the guys who had you before I did," I mumbled as I rubbed small circles on her back.

This position right here, it makes my heart flutter. Just by the gentle touch of her skin, warms up my entire body. I try to ignore or stop the feeling, but when I'm in the same room as her, it's impossible.

Alona kept quiet which confused me. Peeking down, I noticed her eyes were closed with her thumb in her mouth. I smiled and continued rubbing her back.

"Are you sleep, love?"

"Nope, but laying on you like this is making me sleepy," She yawned a little and wrapped her lips around her thumb again. "You know there's school tomorrow, right?" She groaned and snuggled into my chest more. Shit, she's making my heart hurt.

In a good way obviously.

I was scared she'd hear or feel how fast my heart is beating right about now. It's too soon.

"Talk to me," She mumbled, her eyes still closed.

"What do you wanna talk about, love?" She sighed as she tapped her cheek with her index finger while she still had her thumb still her mouth. My little baby.

"Anything."

"Okay," My heart continued to flutter making me nervous all of sudden. My arms wrapped around her waist more, trapping her in the position she's in.

"You know I can hear how fast your heart is beating, right?" She chuckled making my eyes widen.

"Only because it's hot," She snorted.

"That's cute," She teased making me roll my eyes playfully. I opened my mouth to say something but before I could, my phone ringed from beside me.

I reached over to grab it, being careful not to make Alona uncomfortable. My jaw clenched when I saw the number. No, not now. Not ever.

"Aren't you gonna answer it?" The angel on top of me asked, her voice soft and calm. She's on her way to sleep, I could tell. I definitely wasn't moving now.

"No," I silenced my phone and set it beside me. "It's not important," I whispered and sighed deeply.

My arms found their way back around Alona.
