"This is too much butt," My mom said, literally poking my ass with her finger. I chuckle and swat her hand away."I got it from you," I told her. She smiled, bumping her hip against mine as I adjusted the ring Dani let me use on my middle finger.

"How do I look?" I turned around to face her.

Mom smiled and twirled me around before pulling me in for a hug. "Beautiful as always," I smiled.

"Thanks, mama," I pulled away as she fixed my neat bun a little. I had sat for 25 minutes while she did it.

Mom looked at me for a second before pouting, "Ugh, I really birthed a beautiful child. I'm still scared to let you leave the house," She admitted.

"Least dad doesn't try quarantining me away from guys anymore, or anybody," We chuckled.

"Come on, we have a big night ahead of us."

"Really? I thought we were only going to dinner," I looked at her confused as she linked her arm with mine, grabbing her bag and pulling us out the room.

"Wait I forgot my-"

"Don't worry about it and it's only 6 pm. We have a lot of time to do whatever you want, on me."

I shrugged, "Won't argue with that."

As we walked downstairs, Dani and Eli looked up, eyes widening. Dani jumps up, clapping her hands.

"It doesn't matter what you wear, those hips of
yours are always going to poke out like this." She wiggled her eyebrows.

"Okay, what's up with people talking about my... Lower parts?" I glanced at mom.

"No reason," Dani shrugged, pulling me towards the couch. Eli smiled down at me and I make grabby hands. He rolled his eyes before pulling me in for
a hug, lifting me off the ground some.

"You look beautiful, HP," I smiled at the nickname as he sat me back down.

"Okay, I'm ready!" I clapped my hands and grabbed my phone from mom. I smiled when I saw the number of notifications I have from people wishing me a happy birthday. It made me feel special.

Then, I never really felt special like I do today.

I replied to a lot of messages as we all got into my mom's car. I bit my fingernail, my mind drifting to Levi. I thought he would at least say- no, he can't.

It was a mistake.

I have to get over it.

I've been through this shit before.

I can definitely handle another.

But this one just kind of feels different.

"Hey, babe you ok?" Dani asked rubbing my back. I shut my phone off, glancing at her. She gave me a concerned stare, her perfect eyebrow raised.
