time was up, everyone stopped writing and I could tell that Jacob was nowhere near halfway through his thoughts and the assignment was a complete fail for him
Jacob needs to get his shit together if he wants to pass this class
"pass your papers forward" the professor says
I pass mine to the front togther with the ones that were passed to me
Jacob turns behind to look at me and sends a small smile my way
i slightly return it
the thing is that I find him to be weird, he reminds me alot of Luke, hot and punk
"okay, before i dismiss you, you guys will be doing a presentation. It could be about literally anything, tv shows, countries, music, laws, anything. you will pair up with someone. 10 minute presentation due on Thursday"
i quickly raise my hand before I could even realize it was up
"yes?..." I can tell that he wanted to remember my name but he forgot
I felt the whole class turn to me and i automatically regret it
"uhm, uh yeah uh is is due this Thursday?"
the teacher laughs and nods "three days from now"
i nod "ok"
why three days, I have a kid i should take care of and who I have to catch up with, not like he talks but i missed him and I just got him back
"pair up! decide your meet ups and then you're excused, dont forget to email me your team member! if you dont email me your team before thursday you are not presenting and you will most likely fail this class. this presentation is worth 40% if your grade and it is barely week 3, proceed to your parteners" he nods
"jackie?" this girl a few rows behind me says
I turn around and turn to her "yeah?"
"want to be my partner?" she asks
"I was going to ask her... shes smart" another girl says
"both of you leave, shes my partner" Jacob sits next to me
"who even are you" the first girl says
I have never even talked to these girls in my life nor have seen them
"just leave" he rolls his eyes
the girls ended up pairing with each other after I apologized to both of them
"very possessive" i laugh
"you're the only one I know in this class" Jacob rolls his eyes
"loner" i laugh
"shut up you're the same you dont know anyone else"
"excuse me? did you not see three people fighting over me? including you"
"pipe down! you're a nerd and you do everyones work"
"I do not"
"yes you do"
"shut up"
"anyways"
"do you want to get started today?"
"i dont do anything so yeah"
"okay uhh do you want to get started right now?"
"right now right this second?" he asks
"well we can go to my place"
"buy me dinner first" he jokes
"I have to get back to MJ but he wont be a distraction, or I can ask Michael to stay and watch him while we get started"
"Michael is?"
"my ex"
"your babys daddy?"
"weird word but yes"
"thats technically what he is"
"yup"
"well would he be okay if I went?"
"I dont care what he thinks, its for school"
"fiesty okay"
"lets leave" i say
"uhhh write down your address and i'll meet you there"
"I can take you"
"i brought my car"
"you drive?"
"shut up" he laughs
i smile "okay" i write down my address and hand it to him
"oh this is a few minutes away right?"
"yeah, about 15"
"alright then " he gets up and gets his binder and walks out
I put everything away in my purse and head out
asshole didnt even say bye
about 20 minutes pass by and I finally arrive , I didnt give Jacob my apartment number because im sure he wouldve gotten lost so I was waiting for him at the lobby entrance
"im here dont miss me"
"dont worry noone did"
"right"
we both walk inside and up to my apartment
i unlocked the door and walk in, I automatically see the trail of toys in the hallway
"Michael!" i call out
Jacob looks around the apartment "nice place" he says
"thanks" i set my purse down on the couch
I smell hair dye from a distance
"why does it smell like hair dye! Michael are you dying your hair!? wheres MJ?"
"in the bathroom with me" he calls out
"why is he there? the smell of the hair dye is too strong for him "
"he's helping me" he calls out
Jacob laughs lightly and i roll my eyes dramatically
nooo no no I know Michael is not letting MJ dye his hair, a fucking two year old he must be out his mind
"Michael!" i yell
he comes out with MJ in his arms
both covered in hair dye, Michaels hair was a mess it looked like hair dye spalshed in his hair instead of really dyeing it
both MJ and Michael had gloves on filled with dye
"what the hell" i grab MJ from him and take off hsi gloves
who in the world does this
Michael stares behind me and he's staring right at Jacob
"you're kidding" he says
"Michael.."
"first Luke now him"
"dude chill its a school thing" Jacob says
"so you arent planning on getting in her pants?"
"Michael!" i yell
"dude no! shes a friend"
"lie"
"thats enough!" i yell
"just saying" Michael says
"what even are you trying to do with your hair, its blonde still but with black"
