Chapter 68

We finished all the presentation passed midnight. Still no sign of Michael whatsoever

I didn't know what to think I was more pissed than anything

He was ignoring my calls and texts and it was pissing me off

MJ was asleep and I couldn't be more thankful. He kept playing with Jacob quite a lot distracting us from work which is why we took forever to finish this assignment.

Tomorrow was my last day of class before Ireland. I was so excited to get out of this shit city and country.

I grabbed a fruit off the counter and dialed Genesis number. I'm pretty sure she's asleep but I have no intentions on calling Michael to come over tomorrow for school

He knows the days and times but im not going to bother him by reminding him, he probbaly slept late anyways

I really dont know whats happening with us, it cant literally only be the fact that he didnt want me to know about the commercial

I hear the other line picked up "hello?" i hear Genesis speak in her sleeping voice

"Gen? its Jackie"

"whats wrong is MJ okay?" she tries to talk out the words but i can barely understand her

"hes fine, I was just wondering if you could babysit in the morning because I have school"

"you're seriously calling me for that?"

"yeah.."

"what about Michael?"

"we arent speaking to each other"

"so? hes the father"

"just please, its just 4 hours"

"what time?"

"10 am" i say

"fine be there at 9:30 now let me fucking sleep"

and like that she hanged up

------------ next morning -------------------

it was almost 9 in the morning, I woke up a little later than usual and I was a mess

I hate public speaking especially in front of a big class

you see this class was like an auditorium class which had about 80 students or more really

Im scared of speaking so I couldnt sleep at night which lead me to oversleep

I quickly got out of my bed and into MJs room, he was awake playing with his toys on the floor "mommy!" he yells

"hiii" i smile

I picked him up with a few other toys and head to my bathroom

"mommys gonna take a quick shower so play here since I cant leave you unsupervised, it will be quick okay?"

he continues playing with his car

i make sure hes not looking and quickly undress and step in

it took me less than 10 minutes to shower quickly and get out

we both went to my room as i quickly changed into a white dress

I did my makeup lightly and quickly supringly i got done by 9:30

the doorbell rings and i literally sprint to open it

"hi.... you're late huh?" she yawns

i nod "that obvious?"
