We've been up and down.
Side to side.
Been scarred
And scarred each other's hearts.
I met the devil
And danced with her.
What did we win
By just pulling off the trigger.
I hurt you.
You broke me.
We wrecked and demolished.
The city we both built.
But
Time fixed it all.
Time did its thing
We grew up.
Separately.
Now we both are heading home.
Looks like we've mastered.
The art of letting go.
