I hate to remember when I walked in.
I saw you sitting on top of your desk.
I was so lonely, until you lit up the room.
You never noticed me.
Until one day I sat next to you.
Days passed, and you came over.
I never imagined you would talk to me.
I walked home that evening.
At 3:48
Replaying the smile you had on your face
I hate to remember the time we slow-danced
Next to your couch, but we didn't kiss.
I was so afraid of us getting caught.
But you calmed me down with the beat of your heart.
I hate to remember that March 17th
And see that your new laughs aren't because of me.
I hate to remember when I walked out.
Missing you has stolen the smile from my mouth.
