But.. it's a little weird ,isn't it? Kathy asked.

Why? Nick asked astonished.

When the accident happened ,Jiya was 8 years old ,not 4. She wasn't that much small to cover someone's eyes while driving, Kathy stated.

But the situation was unusual, l said. In normal situation ,it's weird ,l agree. But in an extreme situation like that, nothing is impossible.

I think you're right, sister, said Joe. He was looking a little gloomy today. I think I have discovered the most interesting side of Jiya, it's over then. That's a relief.
What's over? Nick asked confused.
Joe smiled a little. Well, now l won't follow her or hang out with her anymore. I am done with her.
Jiya? I asked.
Who else?
We all stared aback at him for a moment and suddenly, Kathy banged her fist on the table so loudly that people from other table stared at her.
What do you mean? You were just using her? As a...a guinea pig? she shouted.

Joe answered calmly, well you can say that. I was hanging out with her just for my research, otherwise.. who will want to be with an annoying person like her?
But she even told you her secret ! l groaned.

So what? It was needed for me to know, so l made her to tell me, that's all, Joe stated. After that, she's priceless.

Guys! Nick cried staring at something, we turned. Jiya!

Seeing us staring, Jiya said hesitantly, l was.. just passing by. I really ... really didn't eavesdrop and left quickly.

Joe! Aren't you going to stop her? Kathy shouted again.

Why will I? It's good for her to know the truth, Joe said.

I am leaving, Kathy said gritting her teeth. I don't need a friend like you, you selfish. Kathy stood up.

I am coming with you too, said Nick. Who knows, if we're also some guinea pigs for him, he said in a bitter voice.

I remained silent. Joe was staring at them confusedly.
They left.
Joe, l said in a soft voice.

What is so wrong to use someone for a research? Why are they behaving like that? I did nothing wrong, Joe said stubbornly.

I smiled. Using someone as a guinea pig is fine, but using someone only as a guinea pig is obviously wrong, l said.
Joe stared. What?

You do some research, that's fine. But, she has some emotion. Hearing something like that from a person important for her is really painful.

Important for her? And why do you even think that? She even knew that she's a guinea pig for me.

But then she started to consider you as a real friend, started caring for you. You know, how risky it's to be in a forest during thunderstorm. But after hearing you're missing, she rushed there immediately, didn't care for herself.

I think she's sad for being only guinea pig not guinea pig.But..

think yourself, l interrupted him. I don't wanna tell you what to do, think what you want to do. If you really don't consider her friend then just end the matter here, if you do then apologize, that's all. I will leave now, l stood up. By the way, don't mind them, their nature is just like that. I left.
