What do you wanna eat? asked Jwel to everyone. Like he said to Nick, he was treating us at his success.

We all looked at the menu and chosen our food. Jwel called the waitress and placed the order. While waiting for food ,l suddenly noticed Jiya's t-shirt. There was something crimson on her light blue t-shirt, she surely hasn't noticed.

Hey, there is something on your t-shirt ,l said to her.

She checked it. Oh, it's blood ,she said as if having blood on t-shirt is very normal.

Have you murdered someone or what? asked Jwel noticing the stain carefully.

No, said Jiya indifferently.

Then why.... said Jwel again.

I helped someone, said Jiya irritatedly, to reach the hospital.

Who ?he asked again.

Someone who hates you, said Jiya coolly.

That's a very helpful information. You made it obvious, said Jwel sarcastically. Jiya rolled her eyes.

Looks like it's gonna take a long moment, said Joe leaning on his chair.

Hmm,l said.

What about a trip somewhere? I haven't gone anywhere since twelve months. I am bored, he said suddenly.

Our class will be starting in two days. Why didn't you tell it before? said Kathy sighing. I am also bored. A trip could be refreshing.

Where to go ?asked Jwel.

I wanna go in a hill station, said Joe. Jiya was sipping water, he almost choked and started coughing patted her on the back.

Alright? I asked. She nodded.

Please, let's go on a trip, said Joe eagerly leaning forward.

But it's expensive to visit a hill station, said Nick thoughtfully. You should have told me before so l could save some money.

But...Joe was about to say something when the waitress came with food tray. She served and left.

Joe started eating without talking further and others maintained the silence as well.

Again we are using this disgusting route, said Nick carefully taking a step. As we got late, we were entering school using Jiya's secret path once again. l noticed that Joe was always staying very close to Jiya.

Maybe he is afraid about what happened last time,l thought.

Hey, let's go to the tent, said Joe in a low voice.

Why? I asked. I think we should enter the hostel quickly.

I have something important to tell you all, said Joe in a serious manner.

What? Can't you just tell while walking?Jiya asked .

Just go, said Joe becoming impatient now.

Jiya changed her direction irritatedly. We immediately followed her.

Robin was sitting in his bed and smiling silently. This girl is different,he felt embarrassed that he couldn't get rid of her thought. She helped him. This is making him feel good.

He remembered her sentence, you should be happy cause you improved.

Should I? Nobody ever said that to me. Sighed. You're the girl l owe my life to. Do you even remember? he thought.

Robin is standing on the bank of the river beside school. Deep in the forest, nobody generally comes here. It's silent rather than the sound of water. Sick and tired of this competition he is. He took a deep breath.

I never learned swimming. Is there any way to die better than this for me?he thought.

Hey! a girl's cold voice came from behind. Robin turned aback. Nobody comes here generally .

Are you trying to suicide by jumping in that river? asked the girl .

Why? Wanna try to motivate me? said Robin irritatedly. Listen girl, l know what you will say. Think of your family ,think of your friends and all that. I won't, alright? So, mind your own business.

Who is trying to motivate you? said the girl rolling her eyes. Your life, you die or live, your choice.

Then? Robin asked a little confused at her reaction. Why are you asking?

See, the girl said looking him directly in his eyes, if you die here then the authority will make this forest a restricted area. That's really a problem for me. So, choose some other way to die, okay? For example, you can jump from the school building or cut your wrist, how about that?

Are you making fun of me? Robin asked now quite angry at this girl.

Why will l do that? said the girl indifferently.

I am here about to die and your biggest concern is this forest? he asked.

Of course. Without you my life... actually anyone's life won't be different at all. But this forest is really important in my life. You're dying, so you're out of count. But l am living, so l need to think about my life before, right? You should always think about the living people first.

She was saying the words very lightly but they hit him hard. Even if l die everyone will carry on like before? Indifferently? he asked in disbelief.

The girl looked a little pitiful for the first time. Yeah, maybe your family and friends will suffer a little. But after some time, it will be all fixed. Time heels everything, you know.

Won't my mom regret always pressuring me? Insulting me? Robin shouted desperately as if the girl was his old friend.

As if it will be any help for you if she does, the girl shook her shoulder in a carefree manner. Once you die you're not going to know if she is regretting or not. Even if she does, you're not gonna come back. Then what the hell is point of all this drama?

Just because l couldn't rank among top ten, my mom insulted me before everyone. Everyone! I can't take it anymore. I don't even wanna go home back, said Robin almost crying now.

So? You stay here, don't you? Why will you even go home when class has already started? the girl asked.

Argh! You're making fun of my emotions. I am ashamed, do you understand ?he shouted again.

The girl sighed. I don't. I have failed remarkable times without any shame and you're talking about top ten.

Your parents don't mind it! asked Robin wide eyed.

She shook her head. I am still better than you, am not l?

How! I was in twelfth position, said Robin. I have never failed in any exam in my whole life!

You're failing in your biggest exam, living. I..on the other hand am living. That makes me a fighter and you ,she said pointing towards me, are a loser.

You...Robin shouted offended.

Chill boy, said the girl turning to leave. And please die quickly if you want. If you don't then there's a chance that you will change your mind. Bye, don't die here.

Hey ,Robin followed her. What's your name, Huh? I will report that you're encouraging people to suicide.

Then you will have to report that you were comitting suicide, said the girl sarcastically. Jiya Rahman, go report. She left Robin wordless.

Robin smiled again. Though it was an impulsive and childish decision cause of mom's behavior but what if l really had jumped? Maybe you didn't even mean to motivate me but your words were the best motivation l ever got. Everything will be perfect even without me. Just l won't be anywhere. How can l let that happen?

His smile disappeared. I started finding out everything l could about you. This year when l saw you in the same section with me, l thought I will tell you about my feelings. But....too late. This Joe is so lucky to be liked by someone like you. And l...was never lucky.
