Kathy was hesitantly wandering around Jiya.

'You wanna say something?' Jiya asked noticing her.

'You know what? A person should have fun in life. Like.... not always books you keep reading, hanging out with friends is also very important, it helps...to reduce ahh.. stress right? Reading is so enjoyable' Jiya said softly and started reading again.

'Uhhh, let's go together. It will be fun', Kathy claimed. 'More than reading.''

'To where?' Jiya asked confusedly.

'A night out,all of us. How does it sound to you'? Kathy asked eagerly.

'Night out? 'Jiya asked for confirmation.

'Yah, it will be great, won't it?' Kathy asked excitedly.

'You can't go out at night', said Jiya. 'School won't permit it.'

'Who's asking for permission?' I asked entering the room with some novels l have always wanted to read.

Jiya stared at them. 'Umm.. after you're finished with those, don't forget to give me',she said.

'Alright,' l said. 'But now the thing is, l have found a window from which we can slip out. Stella aunty won't notice for sure. We will meet with them at the bus stop.'

'Are.. you guys planning to... 'Jiya wondered.

'We are planning to run out for a night,'l helped her.

Jiya suddenly seemed to be thinking something.' when?' She asked.

'The day after tomorrow's night? Why? Will you come? 'Kathy asked excitedly.

'It seems interesting to do anything secretly though. Will Nick also come?'

'Yeah. Joe and Jwel will also...'l beckoned Kathy to stop, but it was too late.

'Oh! I think it's not a good idea,'Jiya suddenly said.' We shouldn't break rules like that.'

Though she was talking about the rules but I got the reason.' You are going with us, you don't need to worry about the whole team,' l said quickly.

Jiya hesitated. 'Well...they will worry about it,even if l don't,'she said almost in a whisper.Kathy guilt fully looked at me. I assured her with eyes that it's okay. 

end of room conversation

'Jiya...' a voice called when Jiya was about to enter the forest.

'Joe?' Jiya turned. 'Anything?' She asked.

'Come, 'Joe grabbed her wrist.' I need to talk with you.'

'Where?' Jiya wondered.

'Just come.Joe stopped beside the river.' Okay,so...

'So what? I have works to do,' Jiya said irritatedly.

'When did l say that l don't want you to come with us? You make me look evil, Joe asked.I didn't say Joe, l just said they,' Jiya said coldly.

'They? Who else than me and Jwel can you mean by they? There's only six of us, don't lie,' Joe said angrily.

'Well....

'You said it's okay, but still you're avoiding me. Can l know the reason? You could have said that it was not okay. What was the point of... 

'What do you think about me?' Jiya interrupted him in such a calm voice that Joe looked at her surprisedly .

'W..hat do...Joe stuttered.

'I'm a human, right? 'Jiya said calmly.

'When you're on Earth.... you... are supposed to be, right?'

'I'm not joking, Joe. Just because l am quiet that really doesn't mean l can't feel anything. How will you feel when you will hear someone talking about you like that? Someone you have thought was your friend.' Jiya sounded sad, really sad.

'I said that l didn't mean to hurt you. I said sorry, what else can I do? 'Joe protested.'' You want me to jump in that river? Then will you forgive me?'

'Shut up! Don't use your old blackmailing method again, alright? Who asked for your apology? Haven't you used this guinea pig enough? Just leave. Leave me alone, will you? I hate to be with fake people,' Jiya suddenly sounded angry.

'I wasn't.... it's...l'

'Don't say anything. Just leave me alone, please. I wanna be alone.'

Jiya left the place leaving Joe alone, speechless. Also sad? Guilty? 

What was that feeling?
