How was the exam? Jiya asked us tensedly after coming out of exam hall.

Our exam has started. The first one was math.

I guess the best math exam of my life so far is this, said Kathy smiling. I am feeling great. It was a

wonderful start.

I agree, said Nick. You are a great teacher sis. We have improved notably. I will get at least 70,l

can say.

I am not sure,l hesitated. I have messed it a little.

You will pass, right? Jiya sounded more tensed.

I am hoping that,l said nervously. You obviously taught us well,l am not blaming you at all. I just became a little distracted suddenly during the exam and couldn't answer all the questions in

last. Though, l will get more than 50 at least.

Alright, said Jiya lightly. You must not be distracted again. You have to focus hard on the thing

you're doing.

I will keep that in mind,l said slowly.Jiya looked at Jwel curiously as if hoping him to say something.

My exam went well also, said Jwel smiling.

As if we don't know that, said Kathy jokingly. You're the topper after all.

Joe was there as well. But he was completely silent. Nick and Joe seemed to stand as far from each other as possible.

How was your one? asked Jwel to Jiya.

Not bad, said Jiya thoughtfully. But the questions were so plane, nothing interesting.

Your nothing interesting questions made us sweat from head to toe nerdy, Nick smiled.

Jiya opened her mouth to say something but without saying anything closed it again. As if she couldn't find any word or forgot what was she going to say.

Alright, bye then, Kathy said. See you tomorrow. Best of luck for your next exams.

To you too, said Nick and Jwel together.

Jiya walked with us for a while and then changed her direction towards her tent . I murmured

while walking towards the hostel with Kathy, how stupid I am to think about a story during math exam! All of them had a good exam except me. What if I fail? Dad's gonna kill me after result. Why am l that stupid! Argggh!

What the! Jiya scowled seeing Joe sitting in her tent.

What are you wondering about? It's just me, said Joe long faced. Haven't you seen me before?

But what are you doing here? Didn't you just went with them?

I am not feeling good, give me company.

I am here to study, not to give you company, said Jiya coldly.

What type of friend are you? I said l am not feeling good and you didn't even ask the reason of that? Do you care for me or not? Joe said annoyedly.

Yeah, yeah! Quarrel with your friends ten times in a week and then ask me to give you company,

right? Who told you to be foul mouthed? Me? said Jiya irritatedly.

You only care for Jwel! You don't care about me at all,he complained like a child. Nobody cares for me.

Jiya sighed. Alright, what the hell can l do for you?

You asked everyone except me how their exam went! You could ask me as well,Joe complained again.

Isn't it obvious that your exam will go well? Jiya said coldly. What's there to ask?

Still! No one talked to me at all, shouted Joe.

Jiya chuckled slightly. Okay! Let me ask you, how was your exam?

Why will I tell you now? Joe said indignantly. You didn't ask then.

You irritating brat! Jiya said gritting her teeth. Why do you ask a boring person like me for

company, anyway? Go and find someone else, don't irritate me.

I came here cause l like you, your company is comfortable and you can talk smart, said Joe unwillingly.

Jiya blushed a little. Do you want something from me? she said suspiciously.

Just help us to make up, said Joe hopefully. Nick is your student now,he will listen to you.

Oh! So you were flattering me for that, right? said Jiya in a dangerous voice and Joe suddenly noticed it.

No,no,no! You truly is a good company to keep. You have natural guardianship in your character

too. You're very smart. Seeing that you handled tomorrow's matter very well, I just wanted your help.

I can help you, said Jiya calmly,if you promise me to watch your words from next time. No more

quarrels should form for your foul mouth. Promise?

Promise, said Joe happily. You truly are an amazing, kind hearted person. You're.....

No more flattering if you want my help, warned Jiya.

Okay, said Joe indignantly. I was speaking the truth anyway, he said in a low voice.
