Chapter 11: One By One Challenge Came

"Hey, how are you today?" Seokhoon sit down by the side, reaching and holding Rona's hand to warm it up. "It's been 5 years, Rona-ya. I think it's time for you to wake up from that sleep of yours. Your kids are waiting for you, your friends are waiting for you, mom is waiting for you, I am waiting for you." A lone tear escapes his eyes again seeing how his love one is lying, like a dead person on the hospital bed.

He continues to spend his morning til lunch at Rona's hospital room, as he was summoned to his office due to some important meeting. "I'll comeback after I'm done with my work." He kisses her forehead before turning towards the door and left.

Not realizing how a tear escape Rona's eyes that moment. She's awake. She has been awake for a week now but since her heart is still weak, she has to wear the oxygen masked to let her breath much more easily.

The day when she woke up, she thinks that all of this was a dream and she was really dead but no. When the doctor came in to check on her vital, that's when it hit her.

She's alive. She's alive after that terrible crash and she can vividly remember what happened that day. When the doctor asked the nurse to call her guardian, she stopped them. Telling them to keep her regain conscious a secret since she's not ready to face them yet. Just not yet.

Days after days, people come visit her every day, thought that she still hasn't woke up from her coma when she already did in fact. When Seokhoon came every day, it was the hardest for her to refrain herself from throwing herself at him and hugging the hell out of him. She can't see Seokhoon suffer anymore.

As she said, if she had to suffer for someone, she would suffer for them just as long as they don't suffer like how she suffered. That's how thoughtful she is to everyone around her.

No matter what Seokhoon didn't to her in the past, she still loves him even though in high school he bullied her. Just like all cliché storylines where the person who got bullied likes the person who bullies her and apparently that someone is, Joo Seokhoon.

She remembers, she remembers how he bullies her in front of his friends but behind when his friends weren't there with him, he treats her like a friend, best friends.

Not until, he reveals something personal about her to the whole school and it makes her drop out from high school. She knows it wasn't him who did it but when she heard how his friends was talking behind his back about him. She can't take it and lashes out at his friends. Seokhoon knew about it and he shouts at Rona.

"...could you please stop getting into my life? Stop defending me because I don't want a trash like you to defend me."

That was Rona last straw to stay in the school, before she finally quit. She's tired.

But look at where she is right now. She married with him. They had connection before even though it was unexpected. She can't run from him now, and she will never because she knows that if she runs away, she would regret her decision on running away.

That's why when Seokhoon came that afternoon when he is done with his work, at first, she was pretending but when she felt a warm tear drop on her hand, she couldn't take it anymore and open her eyes and reach out to wipe his tears, saying "Don't cry, I'm back. Sorry for leaving you for a long time."

Seokhoon was so shock and was about to call the doctor and the nurse to tell them that she'd woken up but Rona pulled his hand. He looked at her with a question look. Rona shook her head, saying "They already knew."

They had nice conversation and settle things between them before Rona tell Seokhoon to go home and take some rest. Seokhoon didn't want to leave her. They argue for an hour before Seokhoon surrender and kiss her forehead and leave her room.

The next few days were full of laughter and much more as all of the family members and best friends were reunited there in Rona's hospital room.

People thought that finally it ends here when it wasn't, another problem occur when a article was posted, saying that Joo Seokhoon is probably cheating on his wife when she was in a coma state.

Rona don't want to believe it, no she didn't believe it but when you think back in the past, Seokhoon could do anything behind her back just like when she thought he was betraying her for giving someone else her private secret.

But this problem can't be solved when there's a video of Seokhoon went into a hotel room with a woman. The woman was clearly not Rona, and it surprise Rona actually when she saw the woman's face.
