Chapter 13: Let Me Go / Set Me Free

"Joo Seokhoon!" Seokkyung shouted at her brother in disbelief as Rona look at him with no emotions like how he was looking at me right now.

Rona didn't hear anything Seokkyung scold Seokhoon as her ears prevent her to hear it. She knows why Seokkyung is mad but she doesn't have to be that mad because it wasn't her who is hurting right now.

Rona chuckled as she came back to reality. She started to laughed like a maniac, loud and annoying. Both of them looked at Rona with question and weird looks.

"W-why are you laughing, Rona-ya?" Seokkyung voice clearly show that she is scared of seeing Rona like that. Well, she should cause she also left her when she needed her the most.

"What so funny woman?" Seokhoon deep voice make Rona laugh even more. "You! You guys are so funny." Rona can't but sit down on her chair, still laughing like a mental person.

The two looked at each other before look back at the person in front of them who is still laughing.

Rona laughter dies down and she regains her sanity who she had lost when she saw the 2 most hated face in front of her earlier.

"You know what. I'm done, hah. I'm actually done with you both." Rona stood up and look at them with a look that shock both brother and sister.

"Y-yah, why are your face like that?" Seokhoon was trembling in fear seeing Rona's face.

"Why? Are you scared? This is my usual face now after you left me alone in that hospital that day, remember? I was pale and look like I was dead when I was actually alive. You did this to me so remember this face very clearly because I want it to hunt you every night in your dream." Rona smirk as she tried to hide the pain that is going on in her body.

She pressed a button at the telecom on her desk. "Mr. Min, the guest is done here. Please escort them to their car. Thank you." She looked at the guest smiling, still in her pain state; "So, I guess this is the end of our short reunion after a whole fucking year. You may help yourself to get out from this room. Thanks for coming by and give me so much thing to hate on the both of you more. I hope we don't see each other again. The time and date meeting with my children, you could pass it through my secretary. Thank you and goodbye forever. I don't need any of you in my life anymore."

As Rona finished said that, her secretary opens the office door and gesture them to go. At first, Seokkyung wants to go and kneel before Rona and apologize to her and she could kneel in front of her until Rona would finally accept her apology but seeing how Rona doesn't have a tiny bit of interest in her anymore shows how fucked up, she was.

Seokkyung gave up and turn away from Rona, walking out of the room in guilty and regret.

While for Seokhoon, he stood there looking at his still illegal wife. Yes, he didn't forget that one thing. Wife. They are still married to each other and although Rona couldn't see it, Seokhoon was still wearing their wedding ring while Rona doesn't. She throws it away of course, what would he expect? Her to keep wearing it on her hand after what he had did to her?

He would throw away the ring too if he was her but no, he's not. He couldn't explain to Rona what really happened that day because he knows he was too late to explain it now. So, he also turns away just like his sister but he stops when Rona speaks up.

"I waited for you to come that day. I wanted you to explain to me everything and said that all of it was not true and that it was a trap but no, you choose to make yourself invisible and take my kids with you. I still need to listen to your explanation, Joo Seokhoon. But right now, is not the right time as what you did leave a very big impact to me. So now that you've showed up in front of me, let me go. Let's end this love-hate marriage because after we ended everything, you would be free like you used to and I could do whatever I want. The kids can choose who they want to be with or we could switch them week by week..."

Seokhoon turns around to look at her but she was not looking at him.

"... was I that horrible to you, Joo Seokhoon? Why do you keep hurting me? I just wanted to feel your love for me, was that so hard for you to do? I wanted a husband who would take care of me and our kids. A husband who would never do bad thing to ruin the family instead adores his family. But are you seeing what had happened to our family now?"

Seokhoon wanted to say something, he always does since the day the disaster begin. He wanted to explain to her that day, went to see her that day and asked him to believe her but he didn't. He was a coward. He should've known that she was waiting for him that day but he still didn't go to her. 'Why?' Seokhoon asked himself. 'Just why was I being such a fool and a jerk to her entire life?'

The words earlier, he knows he didn't mean it but he still said it because he wants her to hate him even more. He had hurt her in so many ways and no other 'sorry' would be enough to forgive what he did to her. He ruined her teenage life; he causes her in an accident and now he's causing her pain where she should only receive nothing but happiness.

She once said to him that her only wish was to not get hurt by anyone yet he was the one who is hurting her so badly.

"Let's divorce."
