Rona wanted it to be untrue. She doesn't want to believe that Seokhoon could cheat on her after what had happened but knowing him, the possibility has come down from 99% to 1% fast.

Seokhoon didn't come to hospital a few days after the news about him caught cheating came out. Rona has a lot of question to be honest but she kept it until he was ready to face her.

The doctor was doing his daily check up on her when he said, "Everything is in a good condition, Mrs. Joo. You can go home tomorrow morning after the last morning checkup." The doctor smiled as Rona thanked him and went away.

'Seokhoon-ah, why aren't you coming?'

Rona stare at the door, waiting for it to open and it is. She was so excited that she looked up to the person face with so much excitement before it went downhill when Eunbyeol, Jenny, and Minhyuk face greet her.

"Hey..." Eunbyeol greets her, slowly.

"Hi..." Rona looks down at her hands, playing with it.

The three looks at each other before let out a deep sigh. Jenny and Eunbyeol sat on each side of the bed. "You can cry if you want, Rona-yah." Jenny holds her hand.

Rona looked at her and Eunbyeol, trying to hold the tears but it betrayed her as it fell one by one.

She felt hurt, betrayed, angry towards something is not sure yet no one could blame her since she doesn't know the truth about the news.

She cried and cried on Eunbyeol and Jenny's shoulder. They talked that day, Rona asked if any of them ever heard anything from Seokkyung or Seokhoon but all of them shook their heads.

"They all gone. They left."

That's what Minhyuk said to her.

They left? What about her children? Did they leave them at the house alone?

After Minhyuk, Eunbyeol and Jenny went home yesterday, a letter was given to Rona by the nurse in charge. They said;

"A young man who I might assume to be your husband left this for you."

Rona leaves the letter on the table beside her desk after Rona got it yesterday since Rona was so tired from crying that she knocked out after Jenny, Eunbyeol and Minhyuk left.

Rona didn't want to know the context of the letter. She was afraid, afraid that her trust will be broken again.

"He promised, he promised me that he would never hurt me again. But what is this? Why does the promise keep getting broken like it was a bunch of useless promise? Why are you doing this to me, Joo Seokhoon? I want an honest answer from you but right now you are no where to be found. Come back and explain everything to me."

Rona looked out her hospital window as she sighs for the ninth time.

She's tired, she's tired of waiting for someone that won't show up to explain their mistakes and convince her that nothing happened.

She's tired of believing someone who tries to make another promise with her.

She's tired of giving people another chance.

----------------------------------------------------—

A year later,

Again, another year has passed. Seokhoon, Seokkyung and Aunt Suryeon was nowhere to be along with Seokmin and Aera.

Rona knew that he had bring them to where they were going. Possibility for them to hide the kids so that they won't get hurt by anyone. Rona also wanted that but somehow, it's unfair to her.

She took care of them, seeing them grow by herself yet he, who just came back like what 5 years ago, just take them away from her like the kids were never hers.

The least they can do was send her a letter nor a notice nor a message saying that they are okay and fine. But then nothing came. It makes Rona wonder everything alone again.

"Ma'am, you have visitors." My secretary said. "Bring them in." Rona adjusts her elegant white suit, hearing her secretary utter a slow 'you may go in' before turning around and froze on the spot.

"What are you doing here?" Rona coldly asked. It was a minute of silent before the person in front of her open their mouth to say something. But, they can't since Rona didn't let them to speak.

"Get out. I don't want to see your faces. Get Out!" Rona shouted at the top of her lungs. Her voice is about to broke due to the tears whelming up her throat. She didn't want to see them after they left her alone in the hospital room a year ago.

"Rona..." The person started but again they were cut off. "No! I don't want to hear anything that you wanted to say to me! What you did a year ago was loud and clear to me already." Rona tried to stand tall and tried to control her voice from broke down in front of them.

"At least, meet your children. They missed you." The person said. "Says the one who took them away from me." Rona scoffed and continue; "If you really want me to meet them, then you shouldn't have stolen them away from me."

"Just please, they missed you so much." They plead. Rona closed her eyes as she thinks about it very seriously before she opens her eyes and agree. "Okay. Set the time and date."

Rona turns to the other person. "Don't you have anything to say to me?" Rona asked, slightly hoping that the person would at least say sorry but what she gets was a smirk and a reply that make her anger grows even more.

"I don't have anything to feel bad about."
