THEY BOTH GOT COMFORTABLE on the bed in one another's arms, him stroking her cheek as he attempted to memorize her face, yet every detail about her made his mind scramble.

"do you want me to turn in a christmas movie?"

"how did you know-"

"baby, i always know that you'll pick a christmas movie over anything else in the world."

she always liked his short nicknames he gave her, especially if it meant he reminded her that she was loved.

having to semi-roll on top of the girl, she giggled at this action, letting him reach for the remote before feeling their bodies connect once more, as if they both thought the same idea.

"if i turn on the grinch will you at least give me a kiss?" daniel grinned, her nodding before he fully rolled back to his original position, readjusting his arm around her as he turned on the tv, clicking on netflix to select the movie. "now may i get that kiss?"

leaning in, their connection to one another reignites, their passion for loving one another too unforgettable.

"i don't want to ruin the movie and all but holy fuck." he mumbled in her ear as his lips trailed down her neck, leaving one hickey behind.

"i'll all yours, babe. do your worst." she giggled teasingly, letting him move to hover over top of her.

"you know those bikini photos you posted earlier? you have no idea what you did to me with those."

"oh trust me, i had an idea." kailee grinned, pecking his lips. "your comment only confirmed it."

he didn't want to ruin their night, but he knew better than to keep a secret from her.

"all of those fanpages and accounts that were commenting about how much i stupidly broke up with you, they were right. i was an idiot back then and i just wish this didn't end tomorrow morning. but i now know you love me and i hope you know that i never stopped loving you."

"i don't think either of us can forget the love we have, dan. that's what makes us- us."

kissing each other once more, he rolled back onto her side, cuddling up with her back touching his front, the grinch movie already playing out in the screen in front of them.

"you always made the holidays better. who knows? maybe this night might make this a forever night."

he knew what she was saying; that if she truly believes that he changed, that he wouldn't stupidly break up with a girl who deserved better than him, then they might have a chance. that this night, could happen every night, or at least more often than waiting a year.

"if we do ever get back together, would you just forget about the break we had, forget how much i hurt you because then we could finally-"

"i won't forget fully, but i'll forgive you."

"that's all i need."
