USERNAME, her friendship with jonah is absolutely incredible! she still talks to him even if she's not in a relationship with daniel. it's a good friendship and something is like to have in the future! - USERNAME, they haven't been linked since right before daniel and her posted each other. i don't think they ever were going to be close when they originally broke up. it's been a few too many years to keep track since they never posted each other once her and daniel broke up the first time.

THERE WAS ALWAYS something wrong with their relationship. nothing else mattered, because they felt as though they grew as people whenever they were separated. and right now? their separation? it was all new to them in a sorts.
they were happy things ended, but where was he when she was upset? where was he when she begged him to stay?
"I KNOW YOU ARE, BUT WHAT AM I?" she sang softly, her eyes tearing up as the song finished, blending in with the next sad song.
"is she okay?" corbyn asked, his eyes softening as he looked at the girl who became a shell of her old self, talking to jonah who had been comforting her in his arms for hours, daniel nowhere to be seen.
"it's over. it's over." she mumbled, finally sniffling and pulling away to stare at the second oldest in the band.
"what happened, kails? where's daniel?"
"daniel broke up with her and left to god knows where." jonah responded for her, knowing her voice would be raspy from all of her sobbing earlier.
"i told him i loved him and two days later it's over." she paused, looking at the boy she grew to care for. "why promise me everything when it'll all be over in seconds?"
"what did he do to you?"
"I'M GOING TO HANGOUT with jonah today since i haven't spent a lot of time with him since i came back to la with you."
"but i have a day off." he argued, kailee shaking her head.
"i'm not going to argue this with you. how about we get dinner tonight, my treat?" she shot back, not aggressively but her tone shifted from the beginning of their conversation.
"do you even love me? this reminds me so much of the old you and-" he stopped himself, regretting his words to the brunette girl who practically whimpered when he reached for her, unable to reach as she shifted away.
"out of all people i thought that you would never doubt how much i love you."
"kails, i'm sorry. i didn't mean that-"
"you say things sometimes, daniel. you say things and try to backtrack or pretend nothing ever was said- but you said it. do you love me enough to forget about the old me? forget about how broken i was?" kailee was tired of fighting, they had been doing it since they came back to la a couple of weeks ago. "do you ever realize the pain you cause with what you say?"
"i think you should go through with the therapy your dads wanted you to take a while ago. you're broken and there's no fixing it without professional help."
"do you even fucking love me?"
"i don't know if i do anymore." he trailed off at the end, the inability to look at the brunette who frowned, hating how he was acting.
"i hate you, daniel. i fucking hate you!"
"AND NOW I'M IN HERE. he left when i came in here." kailee finished, her body weak and heart shattering as she reminded herself of the tragic past she now had with him.
"i'm so sorry, kails. can i do anything to help?"
"you asking is all that i need right now. i just need a couple of hours alone, i think. i should grab my things and go-"
she couldn't leave. daniel wouldn't even want that. just because he was confused, that didn't mean that she couldn't stay.
"where are you going?" corbyn inquired, more to tell daniel if she was leaving to the airport. "to your moms?"
"i start school in a couple weeks. i'll have to live in la so yeah."
glancing down at her phone, she realized that her background was still a picture of them at her house, cuddling up by the fireplace.
"you are an amazing girl, kails. he's missing out." and with that, corbyn was sent on his next adventure; finding daniel.
