"You broke my collar." I pouted as we sat on the couch.

"I know I'm sorry kitten, I'll get you a new one..." she looked over at me and smiled. "I love you."

"I love you too mistress," I said and she kissed my head.

"I want to talk to you about something."

"What?" I asked. She ran her hand down my cheek and thought for a second.

"I don't want you to be mad at me."

"Did you relapse?" I blurt. "Sorry I..."

"No, no it's ok. No, I didn't. But I have been thinking about it a lot. I'm not going to lie. When you and Luca went to Target the other day I went and filled my prescription..."

"Prescripti- Oh."

"I haven't smoked it yet. I just wanted the... safety blanket of know it was in the house." I nodded. "Your upset."

"No... well yes, but not at you. I'm upset that you feel so bad that you... want to..."

"It's ok kitten, having you here with me helps me but I just..."

"I haven't heard of a doctor letting a... like prescribing someone weed if they..."

"Are addicts?" I looked away. "If you don't believe me yo-"

"No, I believe you," I said and she ran her hand through her hair. "If... it keeps you from-"

"Crack?" She said and I looked over at her to see her smile.

"Lucy." I shook my head smiling. "I hate it but if you feel like you need it."

"I don't want you to be uncomfortable kitten."

"I don't want you doing hard drugs again," I mumbled.

She sat down on a chair on our bedroom balcony and pulled me onto her lap. I kissed her lightly and she smiled at me for a second before pulling me to her chest. "I love you kitten."

"I love you too." I mumbled quietly. She kissed my head and I got up looking over the railing. After a few seconds, the smell crossed my nose and I couldn't help but roll my eyes. Lucy's phone started to ring inside and I turned around.

"Can you go grab that?" I nodded and got the phone from the bathroom. 'Sandra' was the name on her screen, I passed it to her and she sighed. "Hello?" I sat on a chair on the other side of the bridge looking at my phone, I opened Facebook for the first time in over two years. "Yes... well, how about dinner." My ears perked. "Ok, so who else?" She paused. "Jill too, she needs to know this stuff. And Mariah." I scrolled through my feed and seen a photo my aunt had posted, my mom had a baby on each hip and a shirt that said 'worlds best grandma' she had more kids? I was eighteen the last time I saw her... that's not possible. "Kitten." I jumped.

"Sorry," I mumbled.

"You ok?"

"Huhum, What'd you want?"

"Would I be able to go to dinner next weekend?"

"Ya." I nodded.

"Kitten."

"No, it's fine." I smiled.

"Well, wait." She put the phone to her ear again. "How about we have it at my place next Friday. I can get a chef here and we can relax and drink. Kitten is a bartender." My stomach tingled. "Ok, next Friday." She pressed end and laid her phone down. I looked over at her and she took a long drag off her joint. I looked back at Facebook and clicked my aunt's profile, I scrolled down until I saw a post that said 'wishing my beautiful sister a happy honeymoon 💗' there was a picture of mom in a wedding dress next to a guy who looked about 35 with what I'm assuming is his two kids, they were both I'm guessing teenagers. I locked the phone and laid it down.
