We picked up Luca and dropped him off at the social worker building, he hugged us both tightly before following Chris inside. I sighed and rubbed my eyes, Lucy looked over at me. "You ok?" I nodded slowly. "Mad at me?" She asked.

"Annoyed." I smiled at her.

"Good." She looked at me and leaned over kissing my lips lightly. "Are you hungry?"

"I'm always hungry."

"My kinda woman." She smiled making me laugh. "Taco Bell?" I nodded happily and she took my hand laying it on her thigh and she held it as we drove.

"I love you."

"I love you to kitten."

Once we ate we went back to wait for Luca, again he was outside crying. I went to open the door but lucy took my hand. "Kitten."

"I don't care what he said, I'm not letting Luca cry like that." I pulled away from her and jumped out running over to him. She wasn't far behind. "Honey are you ok?"

"I don't want to go with my mom." He sobbed. "I want you and Lucy to be my moms." I wrapped my arms around him and Chris walked over to Lucy.

"Calm down ok, breath." I wiped his eyes and he sniffed.

"I don't like it here."

"It's ok honey, calm down ok?"

"She didn't want me when I was a baby why does she want me now?" He asked sobbing and Chris walked over to us.

"She's changed." He said.

"I don't like her!"

"You'll get used to her."

"I don't want to."

"Is she getting him?" I asked.

"We'll talk inside." He said looking at Luca.

"No! I don't want to see her." He sobbed.

"Listen..." Lucy sighed and thought for a second. "Can I get a friend come and stay with him out here?"

"He's ok," Chris said.

"He's having a panic attack and he is not going back in there." She said as Luca hugged me tightly.

"Fine, come in once they get here." He went inside and I noticed a woman was watching us from the door.

"Who are you calling?" I asked as she put the phone to her ear.

"I will call every person I've ever known if I need to." She was angry. The first person was busy but the second person was just a few minutes away, Lucy hugged Luca as he slowly calmed down. "So my friend Sara is going to come and stay out here with you ok?"

"I don't want to see my mom again."

"You can sit in our car ok? Sara will stay with you and me and Dolly will go inside ok?" He nodded slowly and still had his arms wrapped around me.

Within ten minutes a girl pulled up and got out of her car, she came over. "Hey." She smiled.

"Hey, thanks for coming. This is Luca, and this is Dolly." She said pointing to us.

"I've heard so much about you already." She smiled.

"We won't belong."

"It's ok, I got no plans today." She said.

"We'll be back in a few minutes ok honey?" I said to Luca and he nodded hugging me. He got in the car and Sara got in the front seat, when I glanced back they were talking. Lucy put her arm around my shoulder and kissed my head.

"It'll be ok Dolly." I sighed and nodded. We got inside and Chris was talking to a woman.

"Jennie, this is Lucy and Dolly." He said gesturing to us.

"I don't understand why he's so upset." She said crossing her arms. "I told him I was sorry."

"He's a child-" I said and Chris sighed.

"You're his mother, he'll be ok once he gets used to you again."

"Blood doesn't mean anything," I said.

"Maybe a mindset like that is why he's so against me."

"Maybe it's because when he was little you didn't want him."

"Dolly," Chris said. "The courts have decided that Jennie is going to start earning custody of Luca."

"W-"

"She will start by getting him once a weekend."

"This isn't fair!" I said and Lucy put her arm around me.

"Calm down honey." She said quietly.

"She will get him this weekend Friday after school and I will pick him up Saturday morning."
