Once Luca went to sleep Lucy took me into her playroom, she led me over to the desk and leaned me over it. Once we were home Luca finished his homework and I made supper, Lucy helped for a bit then left to play video games with Luca. "Suppers ready." I laughed.

"Your Lucky she showed up." Lucy smiled at him, she left going to the kitchen and he ran after her laughing. We ate and talked and Luca told us all about the new book he bought today and how is so excited to read it.

"At my mom's she has a big bookshelf thingy and she has so many books and she said that she can start getting books for me so I can have my own shelf."

"Did you have fun?" I asked.

"Yeah, but she didn't feel like my mom." He shrugged.

"What do you mean honey?" I asked.

"I don't know. She just feels like... normal." He took a fork full of food and started to talk again about his book.
