PROLOGUE
"A big mouted loquacious damsel who got her lips sealed with his kiss. A warm lip, warm touch, warm companion in a cold and lonely night. A stranger down the road of Sacramento who changes her life for a lifetime," I read what was written on the paper I have fetched down an unfamiliar road I'm lying into.
It was so strange here, the feeling was uneven. "Where am I?" I asked myself. I paced back and forth but I see no one. All I can sight is a long road to the unknown. I was surrounded by woods and thick fogs.
"Am I alone in a place full of snow? If I'm gonna die right now, why does it have to be here? Where my soul would probably freeze?" I wondered mostly to myself. "Am I destined to be at hell so I'll feel the heat after I became a block of Ice?"
The last thing I could remember is that I was lying on my bed and sleeping so tight. I was so exhausted 'cause I painted the tiny butterfly I've saw at the yard earlier. And when I woke up, I'm in this place. I was lying comfortably along side the road; as if I was sleeping in a california king bed.
Am I kidnapped or something? My parents don't have the money in exchange for my life. If that's the case, they must have fetched the wrong girl. So, they decided to throw me in this place. Such a clever people!
Nothing would happen if I stand still, that's what I've thought. I don't know this place and all I can do is to seek for someone whom I can ask for help. Just as then,
"H-Help." I stopped walking when I heard a deep voice coming out from somewhere near me. I stood there for a couple of seconds before I started looking where it came from.
It sounded in pain. More of, he sounds wounded. Is he scared too? Is he lost? Is he kidnapped too?
"H-Help m-me." Another words was heard and I found myself rushing unscared through the woods. Running against a wild creature didn't crossed my mind, all I ever wanted was to check the situation he's into right now. Why is he screaming for help and why is he catching his breath?
"What happened, Mister?" I asked, panicking. There, I found a man lying on the ground, he wasn't wounded but when he breathed against my cheek, I could tell it was uneven. He was panting as if he was breathing for his life.
"H-Help m-me, M-miss. I b-beg y-you," he whispered against my ears.
"Do you have your phone? I should ask for help. Look, Mister I wasn't a citizen of this place and I know no one. We should call 911, rogger that? I didn't even know why the hell I am here and who brought me here, where in fact I was just sleeping at my bed earlier. Give me your phone, so that I could contact your relative and then helped you out here. And you'll help me come home too. Of course, I would do that myself if can but as you can see, I can't. I have nothing in hand now, except for your warm palm. It was soft and you look good too. I'm taking it further as I expected. Now, lend me your phone, I'm not a thief, though, I have stolen hearts. In fact I have jars of—"
I felt a warm lips touched mine! My eyes popped out as my heart started racing. I was kissing a stranger for peter's sake! And why the hell would he kiss me without my permission? Who gave him the butts?!
When our lips parted, his breath was normal. As if he wasn't panting right from the start. Wait, what? Did he fool me?
"What the hell did you do, Mister?" I asked. "Did you just—kissed me? Eww!"
