"The law school in L.A will be conducting a big event for law students in the entire America. We need a representative to represent our school. Is their anyone interested?"
Like a thunder, I raised my hand. "Me!" Of course, I'm doing this for a purpose.
"Ms. La Synfonic?" The professor sounded hesistant, a bit shocked. "Are you sure?"
"I'll come with her," Titus suddenly presented. As I expected, we caught the crowds attention.
"No, prof. I can come there on my own," I said. "Besides, I have a friend there. So, there's nothing to worry about."
"As a senior student, I shall come." He's persitent. He said those words with an authority touching his voice.
"As a Senior student, you shall stay. They'll need you here," I insisted.
"Who needs me here?" he asked. He was about to say a thing but 3/4 of the students raised their hands. Most of them were those popular chic in the class.
A deep frown cutted the tension in between our stares. "She's right, Titus. You shall stay."
His eyes brooding. "But, prof!" Everyone noticed that his voice raised.
"If you're worried about Ms. La Synfonic, I'll send Ms. Ruscitti with her."
In an instant, Aèm stood up and raised her two hands in the mid-air. "Yes!" she joyfully exclaimed.
"Bakit ba ayaw mo akong isama?" I was stunned by that voice. The whole class was staring at us. I know that no one there, except Aèm, understood what the young man asked.
"What are you afraid of?" there was arrogance in his voice. "Na baka mahulog ka sa akin kapag nagkasama tayo?"

I smiled, making him clenched his jaw. His tongue suddenly choke the skin of his cheek; as if it was habitual, when he's furious over something. "If I got chosen, I'll study there." That words left his jaw drop.
