"I got dragged again!" I said, pissed. "You missed me, Titus?"
"Tss. I saw the sea and I felt the urge of dragging you there and just—drown you," he said. His voice was so calm, just like how the sea drenches the sand.
"Where have you been?" he asked while pathing me with his eyes from head to toe.
"Obviously, Hongkong Disney Land." I almost sound bored by the prospect. I was wearing a mickey mouse dress and led lights wrist bands.
"You look—" he paused to take a deep breath. "Cute." My heart started to race and my hands started to shake.
Did he just compliment me? "You look like a lost cutie mouse," he added, making my smile instantly fade. What would I expect? It was Titus. He never complimented people.
