"You're going to study law?" He sounded like he never expected it.

"Hmm," I replied.

I heard his giggles. "I thought you wanted to be a criminal?"

I just rolled my eyes. "Crazy Fauro."

"I thought you wanted to take chemical engineering?"

I took few deep breaths. That was my first choice but there was a sudden change of heart. "I changed my mind."

"Is it because of him?" He sat beside me and pat my shoulder.

I suddenly thought twice when he asked that question. Did I do it because that's what I wanted, or did I just choose to take that path because that's the only way I could remember him?

A deep frown formed creases on my ivory-like forehead. "It's because that's what I wanted to do now."

Even if he didn't say it, I knew he was hesitant about my answer. "Where?" he asked.

"San Francisco, California." His eyes smoldered.

"He's from Sacramento, right?"

I averted my eyes. "Hmm," I answered.

"So, you're going to study there because he—" I suddenly felt annoyed so I cut him off.

"Mom and Dad is working there." I remained calm as possible. "I'm doing this for myself. He's no longer in the picture, Fauro. He left, and the door was widely open."

He snorted when I was already irritated. "Lo siento, señora."

Hello, Attorney!

This would be my last message, I guess. I'll be deactivating this account for personal reasons. I realized that I've been holding unto something that I had no assurance with. I've been waiting for way too long now, Attorney. One wrong move, I'll lost my sanity.

I'll be busy with my studies starting next week. Like I've told you, I will take law. It wasn't my first option but it'll be the last one. I just wanted to say you're a good person and I wish you happiness.
