Third Person's POV

After wreaking havoc, Enzo remembered his savior's words. He tried to find the exit, but the adrenaline from his first feeding in years made him high on the blood, and he couldn't think straight. Bianca, who had been with him the whole time, understood that he was still weakened because he had vervain running through his system, so she held his hand. Enzo jumped but relaxed when the invisible figure began guiding him out of the building.

"Did you have fun?" She asked him as they walked through the bloodied halls "Take a long look at the place that held you captive because you won't ever come here again; no one will." Bianca told him as they finally exited the building. After a few steps, her voice whispered a world that released him from any connection to the building behind him.

Incendia~

Enzo watched as fire from nowhere spread throughout the building, destroying the nightmare of so many of his kind. He closed his eyes as the cool night air brushed against his semi-naked skin and inhaled deeply. He felt the warmth leave his arm and looked around until he saw a car. A guy and girl stepped out of the vehicle; the girl walked towards him, and Enzo found himself doing the same. He stared into her calm, oceanic green eyes as the girl smiled.

"Welcome back, Enzo." The familiar voice greeted him, and he collapsed into her arms, completely tired, but for the first time in centuries, he felt safe. "Help me get him to the car." Tyler took him from Bianca and laid him on the backseat. "Let's go." They drove to a motel, passing a few police cars on the way. Arriving at their motel, they laid Enzo on one of the beds, and Bianca started flushing vervain out of his system.

"So this is him." Tyler commented stridently at the semi-conscious vampire as Bianca hummed in confirmation, and then his phone rang. "Jeremy?" he answered, then went quiet before he looked at the girl before him. "We can be there by midnight if we leave now and speed." He said. "Jeremy said he saw, and he needs us."

"Okay." They packed up and helped the dizzy vampire get to the car before making their return to Mystic Falls. During the drive, Bianca continued removing the vervain from Enzo, and he came to say, "Oh, you're up." The vampire frowned at the girl who saved him "Most of the vervain left your system, but when we reached home, I could remove the rest of it."

"Why did you help me?" he questioned the teen "Not that I'm not grateful, but how do you know me? How did you know where I was?" The brunette only smiled.

"You'll come to know that I know a lot of things, even things I shouldn't." She told him. "It's a blessing to some and a curse to most."

"Where are we going?".

"Mystic Falls, our friend needs us." They made it to the house earlier than predicted due to the shortcuts Enzo remembered from long ago. As they entered, Tyler screamed in shock, almost falling to the ground, while Enzo's eyes widened in disbelief at the sight before them. Ghosts. Bianca looked at Ayana and Emily, who had a wispy touch around them.

"Bianca, your friend came back terribly upset and locked himself in his room." Emily told her descendant.

"Thank you, Emily, Ayana," they nodded and faded away. "Those were the spirits of past Bennett witches; they like to drop in every now and then."

"You're a witch? A Bennett witch?" Enzo spoke, looking at Bianca.

"Yes, the youngest, actually." She informed them as they made their way to Jeremy's room. "Jer?" They entered the room and immediately spotted the teenage boy on his bed in total darkness, with only a table lamp as a source of light. The boy looked up, and the raw emotions that ran through his eyes spoke volumes. Anger. Hate. Disbelief. Disgust.

"I saw it; I wanted to know how they died, and I saw it." Jeremy stared, and then the hatred in his eyes grew. "She killed them." He said.

"What exactly happened, Bro?" Tyler asked as Bianca crawled onto the bed and lay by his side. Tyler sat at the edge while Enzo stood at the door, not wanting to intrude on them.

"She went to a party after they told her not to and called them to pick her up; she was pissed drunk; I took my bike and followed them." Jeremy grumbled. "They picked her up and took off, but she had no restraint and was acting up, trying to get dad to let her drive; they were trying to get her seated when he lost control of the car and went over the bridge."

"Anything else?" Bianca asked.

"Someone pulled the bitch out and laid her on the bridge, then sped off after seeing the police lights; I left after that."

"Sped?" Enzo questioned him, drawing attention to him.

"Yeah, it was a vampire, same as you." After that, the 3 males started conversing, mostly to get Jeremy's mind off the accident, while Bianca worked on getting the rest of the vervain out of Enzo.

'It's almost time.' She thought.

Tyler and Bianca stood on either side of Jeremy at the funeral and burial for Grayson and Miranda Gilbert, while Enzo watched from the distance. Bianca had seen her sister, Bonnie, and Sheila, comforting Elena. Their aunt, Jenna Sommers who had been contacted about being the Gilbert siblings' guardian, arrived a month ago to help with the preparations. After the funeral, Jeremy was heading back with us which caused a disagreement with Elena and Jenna, they both wanted him home but Jeremy had given Elena a death glare which frightened her, and told Jenna that the Gilbert house stopped being his home many years ago. This caused the young woman to frown and look at Elena who avoided her gaze, she tried to use her guardianship over the pair to force him to stay but he looked at her with cold eyes.

"You just got here, don't make me hate you, as this would just push me away from you." He told her. "And when I hate you, I don't care about what will happen to you; you will be dead to me." He then looked at his sister and said, "Just like she is to me." With that, we left, leaving the two to their own thoughts.
