Third Person's POV

Elena and her group were shocked when they entered their classroom to see Tyler, Bianca, and Jeremy. The group knew that the 3 were close, but they thought that Tyler was corrupting the 2 younger teens. Elena stared at her brother as he laughed and smiled carefreely, while she was miserable and had a guilty conscience after their parent's deaths. She was jealous that she couldn't be like that. Bonnie looked at her sister as if she saw a stranger, which in her case she did. She had never talked to her sister after their mother had left them, and when she saw Bianca at school that one time, she hadn't seen her sister again, not even at home, but she never inquired to her father or grandmother. She observed the 3 and didn't want to admit that they looked closer than friends, more like family, which left a bitter taste in her mouth. Both girls made eye contact with their younger siblings and shuddered at the cold gaze directed at them before they broke eye contact and found their seats. The door opened, and in walked the one and only Stefan 'Doppelganger Cursed' Salvatore. His eyes scanned the room until they landed on Elena, and our trio watched as he just stared at her.

"So Lamia?" Tyler questioned quietly, making those close turns to them in confusion, but only saw Tyler with his eyes fixed on the textbook in front of him, Jeremy on his phone, and Bianca with her head planted in her arms on the table.

"A familiar Lamia." Jeremy added, causing Tyler to look at his brother in all but blood with a raised brow. Bianca wrote down something and showed it to him.

"Ah." he nodded in understanding.

"It's vegan, then a deluxe." Bianca piped, gaining confused looks, but the 3 ignored them, causing those who heard to turn back to the teacher's lesson. Bianca, Tyler, Jeremy, and Enzo made codes for when talking about the supernatural in public. Bianca also cast a spell so that if someone who spoke or understood the language overheard them, they would only hear them saying nonsense.

The class went according to the plot, while Bianca, after seeing the first interaction between the vampire and human doppelgänger, fell asleep. The trio ignored the group and the entire school population, only speaking amongst themselves, but was interrupted by Elana as she sat beside her brother as they waited for the dismissal bell. The teacher had left, and the class was conversing amongst themselves, giving the female doppelgänger the chance to approach the 3.

"Jer, how are you in my grade?" she asked, but was ignored. "Did you want to look out for me?" A smile graced her face as Jeremy turned to her.

"You are one delusional girl." He commented. "Let me dumb it down so you can understand." He stared at her coldly, and her smile fell. "I want nothing to do with you or you're little group; I hate you, okay? You disgust me." They watched as her defense mechanism kicked in and tears flooded her eyes, but the trio wasn't affected; the bell rang, and they left. Bianca and Tyler headed for the field, while Jeremy went to the Art Room. She sat on the benches out of the sun watching Tyler practice; many times he would look over at her and smile, which she returned. After a while, Jeremy arrived with snacks and beverages for them. They conversed about random things as they watched Tyler, and past the time when the practice was over, Tyler jogged over to them.

"I'm going to change, then we can head to the Grill for a bite." They nodded and waited for 10 minutes until he returned, and they left. Arriving at the Grill, the trio saw the brainless bunch with the addition of Stefan and the exception of Matt staring at them with mixed emotions.

"Who are they?" They heard Stefan's question, feeling the tension between the 2 groups.

"They are Mystic Fall's Golden Trio." Caroline explained. "They stick together wherever they go and even live together." Stefan nodded at the information. "They don't associate with anyone in town, but everyone is aware of them whenever they show up." The girl leaned closer as she spoke. "The dark brown-eyed boy is Tyler; he is the mayor's son; he used to be our friend but then one day stopped talking to us; the other guy is Jeremy; you know him as Elena's younger brother, though he seemed to have grown because he didn't always look like that or have that physique." She stared at the younger Gilbert's muscular arm.

"And the girl?".

"Oh, that's Bianca Bennett; she calls the shots and has both Tyler and Jeremy wrapped around her fingers." Stefan stared at the blonde. "Well, she has every guy wrapped around her fingers, Tyler and Jeremy are very protective over her, so no guy approaches her." He could hear the underlying jealousy in the blonde's tone but didn't comment on it.

"Bennett?" he looked at the dark-skinned girl that held the same last name "She's your relative?".

"Yeah, my younger sister, but we don't get along or talk." Bonnie replied grimly, causing Stefan to return his gaze to the trio, unaware that they had heard the entire conversation. They sat in silence for a few minutes until the 3 turned to the pairs of eyes staring at them. Tyler stood and made his way over to them.

"Hey, Ty." Caroline called, batting her lashes, but was met with a scowl, causing the girl to frown and withdraw into herself at the blatant disregard of her attempt at gaining the teen's attention.

"My friends and I are trying to eat, so if you could stop staring at us like the creepy stalkers you are, we would be grateful, okay?" The group stared at the boy in silence before he scoffed. "What? Do you think you can eye-rape us and not get confronted for it? Look, we feel very violated right now, and there are underage teens with me, and that doesn't seem good if I decide to call the police, especially if the new guy that no one knows is thrown into the mix."

"But we didn't do anything." Elena stated.

"Good, then let it stay that way." Without waiting for a reply, he went back to his table, where Jeremy and Bianca were laughing.
