Bianca's POV

The following weeks the Mikaelson siblings took the time to reconnect but also found time to get to know their newly found mates. We all became closer to each other. Enzo, Jeremy, Tyler, and I gained new brothers and a sister. They had come to me once and asked if I knew why they were paired the way they were and I gave them my truthful response.

"Elijah had always been one to follow rules and traditions, and he was paired with Jeremy because he was unpredictable, he would let Elijah loosen up and freely express himself while Jeremy is a loose cannon by himself and Elijah provides the structure and order that he needs. Finn on the other hand, has been groomed by your Mother to be docile and meek, it won't just go away, that's why he was fated to Tyler, a werewolf who is a dominant figure. Tyler has his protectiveness and possessiveness, that's why Finn needs a firm but gentle hand to guide him that not everything his mother taught him is right. Rebecca, the youngest, never got the teachings of self-love and self-worth, she was denied any parental love growing up, and that intensified when she turned into a vampire, which is why she fell in love so quickly every time. She's trying to replace the love she never had. Enzo was a war veteran and has been caged for decades getting tortured after being betrayed by his best friend but his heart never went dark, he never turned off his switch. He has so much love to give and being paired with Rebekah allows him to heal her with raw, pure love. Rebekah can provide the companionship he craves for eternity, even after I explained to him that my power doesn't allow me to die or age and I linked their life to mine, he is still afraid that one day Tyler, Jeremy, and I will leave him." I explained. "Your partners lack something you have and need something from you."

"What about us?" Kol questioned.

"You and Klaus are paired with me, a powerful witch, someone who could understand your wild nature without any judgment. Someone who could understand what you need and let you be yourself." I answered. "And for me, even though I'm powerful, I'm drawn to powerful beings. Klaus is going to be the first vampire-werewolf hybrid and Kol is also going to be the first vampire-witch hybrid. You both are going to be the strongest of your kind and I need you to stabilize my powers." I explained. "I will only grow strong if we take into consideration what Ayanna has said and being my mates, you have a soothing effect on me and act as a conduct so my magic doesn't overwhelm me." I said. "Our mates were chosen to complement us, to balance us out. To help us grow not only as individuals but also as a family."

As the night of the full moon approached, I brought up the three sacrifices. I told Klaus about a werewolf named Jules who had arrived three days prior and her group. I informed Mason before bringing the subject to Klaus and he told me to do whatever I thought was right. Klaus nodded and informed me that he would get the werewolf and exterminate the rest of the pack that was there. Enzo then proposed to turn a criminal into the vampire needed as we had done previously to save Lexi. Elijah volunteered to get the doppelganger and Klaus let him showing the building of trust between them.

The night of the full moon came, and Klaus went out with Kol to capture Jules and kill the werewolves. Elijah, Finn, and Jeremy went to get the doppelganger. Tyler and Enzo went to hunt down a criminal, I had instructed them to meet in the clearing where Tyler had broken his curse. Rebekah and I stood at the ritual site as I made the last of the preparations.

"You're hiding something." The blonde stated and I looked at her. "What is it?" Being the only girls in the group Rebekah and I were close. We were the sisters neither of us had. "Tell me." Her eyes showed concern. "I won't tell anyone." She added. "I just need to know."

I took a deep breath and exhaled. "I have never done a spell this big or complex before." I started. "And it's one after the other." I admitted. "I feel my magic building up for this but I'm not sure if I can do both spells and still stay on my feet." I confessed. "I know something is going to happen after I complete the spells but I'm not sure what." Rebekah's eyes widened.

"How long have you felt like this?" She asked.

"Every day leading up to the full moon." I admitted. "I don't want them to know, not now after we are so close." I confessed. "They've been waiting so long for this, I don't want them to worry and miss the chance to be whole." I told her. "Promise me you won't tell them not until everything is done, promise me." Rebekah nodded. "If anything appends to me tell Enzo, Tyler, and Jeremy to go through with the plan."

"I promise." Just as she said that the others stepped into the clearing and through the privacy dome I placed around the area at the start so that no one could hear anything that would happen tonight. I looked at the sacrifices they brought. The doppelganger, who was passed out and over Elijah's shoulder, a criminal that was already in transition and from the dazed look was being compelled and lastly, Jules, who was growling behind the makeshift muzzle placed on her which I knew was made by Kol from the smile on his face and the glare Jules sent him. I felt my magic rise as the full moon shone brightly in the sky. The night was cool, the air crisp. It was the perfect night for a ritual like this.

"Let's begin."
