The music finally came to an end, signaling the end of the dance. The DJ announced that it was time for the crowning of the King and Queen of the Ball.

"We are going to go just conversing with you is making me loose precious brain cells." Bianca stated.

"And your voices are giving us a headache." Jeremy finished. The quartet left and made their way to their partners. Finn and Tyler held hands, followed by Jeremy and Elijah, Enzo and Rebekah, and finally Klaus and Kol with Bianca sandwiched between them. They made their way to the front of the room, where they saw the crowns of the king and queen sitting on a velvet pillow.

The DJ announced, "Ladies and gentlemen, I will announce the nominees for king and queen."

"They already know who they are." Kol whispered in her ear, amusement lacing his voice.

"Well, then, without further ado..." The DJ announced. "Our nominees for King and Queen of the Ball are Caroline Forbes, Elena Gilbert, Bonnie Bennett, and our very own Bianca Bennett." He paused, letting the crowd react. "And our nominees for King are Stefan Salvatore, Matt Donovan, Tyler Lockwood, and Jeremy Gilbert."

The crowd cheered as the nominees smiled and waved. Stefan nudged Elena, indicating for her to go forward with the others. She glanced at him, confused, but did as she was told. She walked forward with Caroline, Bonnie, and Bianca, feeling a strange sense of unease. She knew that something was off, but she couldn't quite put her finger on it.

As they reached the front of the room, the DJ announced, "And now, it's time to crown our King and Queen of the Ball!" The crowd roared with excitement, and Elena felt a nervous thrill run through her. Stefan smiled reassuringly at her, giving her hand a squeeze. "And this year's Homecoming King is Tyler Lockwood." The crowd cheered as Tyler stepped forward to accept his crown.

"And now, the moment you've all been waiting for." The DJ announced, "Our Homecoming Queen for this year is...Bianca Bennett!" The crowd erupted into cheers as Bianca stepped forward, taking the crown from the DJ. She turned around, looking at everyone in the room, a smile on her face. But when her gaze fell on Rebekah, that smile faltered for a moment. She took the mic, thanking everyone for coming and for voting for her.

"But I want to give my crown to someone who needs to see what I see in her. She's strong, she's beautiful, and she's become my sister." She walked down the stage and placed the crown on Rebekah's head, causing the crowd to erupt into cheers again.

Rebekah looked up at Bianca, her eyes shining with tears. "Thank you." She whispered, hugging her tightly.

"Although you don't need it." Bianca added. "You're already a queen in my eyes." She smiled, hugging her friend tightly. Rebekah returned the smile, tears streaming down her face. "Go dance." She pushed Rebekah gently towards the crowd, wiping her tears away. "You deserve every bit of this spotlight." Enzo led her into the dance circle where Tyler was already dancing with Finn and they swayed to the music.

Kol grinned, leaning in close to Bianca's ear. "Well done, Darling. You certainly made her day." He whispered, his breath tickling her earlobe. Bianca smiled up at him, feeling a warmth spread through her chest. She knew that he was just playing with her, but she couldn't help but feel a small thrill at the idea that maybe, just maybe, he was sincere. She glanced over at Rebekah, still dancing with Tyler and Finn, and her heart swelled with happiness.

Later that night a girl lay in her bed, twisting and turning as the moon's pale light shone through her window. Her dreams were vivid, filled with images of a casket. She knew this wasn't just any casket. She felt the power radiating from it. It was as if it was calling to her, beckoning her closer. Whispers filled her ears, telling her where to find it and that it was important. The girl sat up, her heart racing, sweat beading on her brow. She looked around her room, trying to ground herself in reality. Shakily she made her way downstairs to the kitchen, she got a glass of water and tried to process what had just happened.

As she drank the water, she realized that the whispers and writings she saw in her dream were actually in a language. Curious, she pulled out a notebook and began to scribble down the words as they came to her. The language was complex, almost musical, and she could feel it flowing through her like a river. She spent the rest of the night writing, completely lost in the beauty and mystery of the new language. Knowing that she would go back to sleep, she sat on the couch looking at what she had written. Her brows knitted together as she had seen the language before, with that in mind she went over the grimoires she had read.

Morning came and she was still searching through the ancient texts of her family. The language she had discovered was unlike anything she had seen before, yet it felt familiar as if it were a part of her. She spent hours pouring over the worn pages, trying to decipher the meaning behind the words. As she read, she began to feel a strange connection to the language, as if it were alive, breathing, and speaking directly to her. Finally, she made a breakthrough. She discovered that the language was called 'Olde Norse' and it was said to be the language of the Vikings. But that was not all, she found a translated passage and a word caught her attention. Comparing the text to what she wrote, she found it was a match.

"That's it." She whispered. "The coffin, that's the answer." The girl felt a shiver of anticipation run down her spine as she made the connection. The dreams, the whispers, they had all been leading her to this moment. To her. She knew now that she had to get the coffin, whatever it took.

"Bonnie." The teen now identified as Bonnie turned and faced her grandmother. "Have you been here the entire night?" The elderly Bennett looked at her granddaughter who was surrounded by grimoires.

"I solved it Grams."

"Solved what?"

"Who better to take down the Originals than the one who created them." Bonnie grinned. "I know where the Original witch is."
