Third POV

A group with a mixture of vampires, werewolf, human and witch stood in the basement of their house and watched as the teenaged witch completed a pentagon with white chalk on the ground. She then placed 5 lit candle on each point and motioned Elijah to place Klaus' body in the center. Klaus/Alaric entered the pentagon and laid along side his body. Bianca took her place and placed her left hand on Klaus' empty vessel's forehead and the other hand on the forehead of the body he was possessing. She closed her eyes and all was silent.

A white light enveloped them and we had to shield our eyes from the brightness. When we could look again, the light had dimmed and we saw that only one body on the ground. Beside Bianca stood, a single, healthy-looking vampire. He looked around, taking in his surroundings through his eyes an senses and then met each of our gazes in turn. There was no hostility, no anger, only a deep understanding and acceptance.

"It's good to be back." He said, his voice steady and calm. He turned to his brother "And I made a promise of family to my brother and I shall fulfill it." He smiled at Elijah and then turned to the rest of us but his gaze stayed on Bianca. "My little witch."

Bianca looked at the vampire before her, his eyes were dark blue-green, but there was a depth to them that she had never seen before. She felt a connection to him that went beyond blood or friendship. "Klaus." She said softly, taking a step forward.

"Bianca." He responded, his voice like velvet. He took a step forward, closing the distance between them. His touch was gentle, as if he were afraid to break her. He cupped her face in his hands, his for touch gentle yet firm. Their gazes locked, consumed by moment, time seemed to stand still. They both felt a shift in the air and it was only when a gasp sounded that brought them back to reality. Bianca turned and saw Jeremy pointing at her right hand while everyone stared in shock. Looking down, she saw the golden string that wrapped around her fingers going up to her arm and her body, she followed it and saw it connected to Klaus, she was staring at his hands in wonder.

"You can see it too." It wasn't a question, more like a statement and they all nodded. "This is what I see with people, it is based on the Chinese mythology red string of fate." Bianca clarified. "Once a person has met their soulmate, as i call it, they would get a golden glow and as the couple's relationship deepens the bond gets stronger and so does the glow but once they take the final stage of mating, the glow evolves in to a string that connects to their hearts."

Klaus looked at her, his eyes filled with wonder. "You really are my little witch." He murmured, still in awe.

Elijah cleared his throat, breaking the intense moment between them. "Well then, what do we do now?"

Klaus smiled at his brother and then looked around the group. "I believe the first thing we should do is wake my siblings." His gaze returned to Bianca, and there was a sparkle in his eyes that made her heart race. Bianca nodded in agreement. Klaus pulled out his phone and went to make a call.

Enzo, Jeremy, Tyler and Bianca stood to the side as they watched compelled vampires carry 4 caskets, the Mikaelson brothers were also watching. One with anticipation and the other with anxiousness. Bianca looked at Klaus and when the last casket was laid on the ground and the vampires left with the encounter wiped from their minds she went over to the soon to be hybrid. Lacing her fingers with his, she gave his hand a squeeze which he reciprocated.

"Why don't you tell them why you daggered them?" She spoke and everyone turned to look at the couple. "I know you Klaus, throughout everything you always have a reason for doing anything so tell them."

"You really are made for me." Klaus stared at the only person who ever believed he was more than a monster, that he was never a lost cause and understood him even when his family didn't. "I don't know where to start."

"How about the person who's been asleep the longest?" Silently he went to the coffin a the father left. He lifted it and saw the desiccated form of the eldest Mikaelson siblings.

(Finn in pic above)

"Hello Finn." Klaus pulled the dagger from his brother's chest. "You wanted to leave us Finn. You wanted to die so badly after what mother made us into." He looked at his body. "I couldn't left you go, even if we were never close growing up, you were still family an then you met Sage." His tone grew hard. "She didn't love you, she just wanted you to turn her. I overheard her talking with a man, he was her lover. They wanted you to turn her and then she would turn him so they could spend eternity together." Klaus turned away from his brother no seeing the twitch in his fingers or the color returning to his body. "So I killed them and that's how you found us. You stared at me with so much betrayal that I couldn't look you in the eyes. Then your suicidal tendencies came back and I would you rather hate me than me loosing you." Everyone present watched as Finn sat up slowly listening to his brother's words. "You aren't a monster Finn, you were the better out of us all. I had to keep you safe no matter what, I had to protect you."

"That ends now."
