Third Person's POV
As the events portrayed in the series continued, Elena confronted Stefan. Bianca told the 3 guys who were her brothers the background and story of the two vampire brothers, which led to them being told about Katherine Pierce, also known as Katerina Petrova, and The Originals, all in the span of an afternoon. Bianca looked at the time and alerted Enzo. The vampire sped off and came back with an in-transitioning Vicki Donavon. He laid her on the couch and then stood to the side, watching along with Tyler and Jeremy.

"Where the hell am I?" She groaned out as she woke. She sat up, and her eyes scanned the room until they stopped on Ty and Jer. "Tyler? Jeremy?" Before she could say anything else, Bianca pricked her finger and pressed it to her forehead.

As Bianca chanted, Vicki screamed, and her body shook like she was being electrocuted. Bianca continued till Vicki threw up some black liquid, then removed her finger, causing the girl's body to slump onto the couch as she panted. Jeremy stepped forward and handed the girl he classified as his sister a glass of water. Bianca let a drop of her blood mix with the water before feeding it to Vicki, who passed out afterward.

"I flushed her system; what she threw up is the vampire venom and the drugs she consumed her whole life; my blood will replenish and help her body heal after years of drug intake." She informed them. "I also made her see that every time she makes a wrong decision, her brother is the one who fixes her mistakes when it is supposed to be the other way around." I may not like Matt, but he doesn't deserve to live like he is now; this is the first and only gift I'll grant him.

"So she's going to change?" Jeremy asked, and Bianca nodded.

"Slowly, but she will."

Meanwhile, at the Salvatore Manor, Stefan arrived home to see the place wrecked and his brother sipping Bourbon from a glass. Damon raised the glass to Stefan in greeting and gave a mysterious grin.

"Did you enjoy my present?" He asked, causing Stefan to frown.

"What are you talking about, Damon?" Stefan stated as his eyes narrowed.

"You know black hair, kind of tanned, about this tall?" He stood and raised his hand to show the suggested height "Your doppelganger's ex-boyfriend's sister, I sent her to you as a gift." Stefan sped to Damon, slamming him against the wall.

"What did you do?".

"She was getting annoying, and her neck was so fragile." Damon frowned. "It was an accident." he lied as a smirk took over his features "You better hurry and find her brother; do you remember what it was like when you were transitioning? That hunger?" Stefan snarled, snapped his brother's neck, and sped off in search of the girl.

The next day, Vicki woke up and held her head in pain. She made her way downstairs, passing pictures of herself and her brother with big grins on their faces. She then reminisced and realized that her little brother, whom she had promised herself to care for since their mother left, had become the parent for both of them instead of the other way around. Matt had always been there for her, picking up the pieces she should have been doing. She decided that she was going to change and that she was going to start now. As they say, better late than never. Looking around the house, she saw the state and went to clean. She got rid of all the unneeded medication, drugs, and alcohol, and she especially did a deep cleaning of her room. By the time she finished, it was late in the afternoon. She checked the pantry and found something easy to cook from their limited options. Waitressing at the Grill helped her pick up some skills. As she set the table, the front door opened, and Matt entered. He froze in shock and disbelief at the place that was usually a dump, then he spots his sister at the dining table they never used.

"Hey, Matty." Her tone was soft as she called out the pet name, like when they were younger. "You hungry?" She motioned to the table, and Matt raised a curious brow at her as she fiddled with her fingers and showed him she was nervous about his reply.

"What's going on, Vicki?" She flinched at his cold voice but gathered her courage and looked into his eyes.

"I'm sorry, Matty." She started. "I'm so sorry you had to go through what you did when I was supposed to protect you, and I'm sorry for pushing you away and making you go through it alone; I was wrong." Tears filled her eyes as she saw the hurt in his at the mention of all he had to go through. "I'm going to get clean, Matty, and I'm going to take care of you like I should have a long time ago; just please give me another shot to be better." Without a word, Matt went up to his sister, who seemed sober for the first time in years and pulled her into a tight embrace, which she returned. That night, the Donovan siblings spent the night reconnecting, not knowing that a lonely vampire was searching high and low for the female Donovan.
