It was a normal day at the sanctuary. Terrible Terrors were singing, some Deadly Nadders were dancing around and Toothless and Hiccup were sleeping on the grass outside their cave. Yes, they decided to share it fifty fifty. It was in the middle of summer and the flowers around them were in full bloom. Even though they were in bloom the whole year around, they always looked the nicest in the summer times.

They had spent their few weeks together un-separatable. They hang onto each other like a fly on a yak. They built snow forts and Hiccup figured how to slide down a snowy hill using a yak skin. It had been a little bit scary at first but quickly turned fun when they did it together. Hiccup and Toothless would sometimes explore the ice caves and find ways to get outside that didn't include flying. Sometimes they would even go outside without supervision from Cloudjumper.

Toothless woke up from their little nap and stretched his limbs out before he stood up. He tried to spin around and fall asleep again, but it didn't seem to work thanks to the low grumble in his stomach. He was hungry. He walked over and sat down on top of Hiccup. Hiccup's head shot up as it suddenly got hard to breath in. He looked right into Toothless' eyes right before he got a big lick over his face.

"You know that doesn't wash out!" He said getting up and trying to rub the saliva of his face. Toothless just laughed, you know that funny Night Fury laugh right. Hiccup just chuckled and threw a bit of the saliva back at his face. "seriously?" He said rubbing it of with ease compared to Hiccup. "You started" Hiccup said back placing his hands on his hips. "Well, I'm hungry, do we have any fish left?" Toothless asked.

Hiccup didn't get to answer before dragons started flying into the sanctuary. 'Good timing' thought Hiccup as he started looking for Stormcutter among them. She flew around the center a few times before landing in front of them. She opened her mouth and let some of the fishes fall out. Hiccup walked over and picked up two and headed to the cave to cook it. Some of the dragons still thought it was a bit weird he didn't eat it raw like them.

Hiccup walked over to a wooden bin and started gutting the fish. He had gotten used to the smell, so it didn't bother him too much. The intestines fell into the bin making a weird splash like noise. His shoulders shuddered at the sound. He didn't mean for it to be so loud. They weren't usually like that. He put down his knife and walked over to the fireplace.

He put on some wood that had drifted ashore, he picked up two pieces of rocks. But just as he was about to use the flint and steel, Toothless shot a small plasma blast lighting the fire. "Toothless!" He said turning around, "I need be able to do some things myself you know?!" He said holding back a laugh. He was bad at pretending to be angry. Toothless stood up on his hind legs and wobbled around the room mocking Hiccup. They both let out a snicker before continuing what they were doing. it was all for fun. Hiccup cooked the fish while Toothless laid beside him enjoying the warmth.

They sat around the fire while Hiccup ate, too slow for Toothless' taste. Hiccup looked into the fire. The sizzling burning hot fire giving the room an orange glow. The wood creaking and breaking of into smaller parts showing the fresh coal with fire sprouting up from the creaks.

The closer he looked, the more he was intrigued. The room around him got darker the longer he looked at the fire. It almost seemed like he was in a trance. A low thumping noise could be heard, though it was only in his mind. His head felt like it was under a lot of pressure, it felt as if he was trapped under a snow avalanche or was at the bottom of the sea. He closed his eyes as one hand went up and grabbed his head.

He opened his eyes only to see glances of another fire. Though this one was in a deep cove, surrounded by forest and greenery on the top. He could hear a shrieking wind blowing, but the leaves were undisturbed. He tried to get up but was unable to move from where he was sitting. He turned his head around and saw another person standing further away with his back facing him.

He closed his eyes again and found himself running through the forest. He was running after someone. It was the same person as before. The unknown person stopped and turned around. She had golden locks in two braids and wore a skirt with skulls on, a blue tunic tucked in with a red vest on top. The girl had big fur boots that went over her pants. Her eyes were as blue as the ocean itself.

She was talking, but the only thing he heard was whistling and a contorted voice. It was as if his brain didn't want him to hear. It was only one word she said that he understood. "Hiccup" She reached out her hand for him to hold. He was able to move his hand, but as he went to grab er hand, she turned to black dust that flew up in the sky. "NOO!" He said trying to reach for her. The ground shook and he fell to his knees. The trees and bushes started turning to black dust, black gue was dripping from the leaves as if they were melting. The wind got filled by loud shrieks and voices screaming his name, "HICCUP" "HICCUP" "HICCUP".

The ground formed big cracks and the ground moved. Hiccup fell down into a large black hole as the world around him disintegrated. The last thing he saw before he lost consciousness was a large ball of fire flying towards and engulfing him.

Then it was darkness.
