Chris comes back from work
She opens the door but she doesn't see Street while she's putting her keys on the kitchen and she yells thinking he's in the bathroom
« I'm sorry babe we got an emergency, I couldn't come... »
She raises her head
« Jim..? But wha...What are you doing and...why are you wearing this shirt ? » She asked with an hesitant voice
He is here standing in the room with an « evening outfit », wearing a nice shirt and a blue jean's.
« I take you out tonight » He says
« What...right now ? » She replies not ready at all
« Yes we have to go in 20 minutes » He says
« 20 MINUTES ????
Okay i'll be back » She says and leave the room and run to the bedroom
15 minutes later
She's back wearing a black dress open in the back and white sneakers
« WOAWW...you..you're stunning » Street says staring at her
« Stop... » She says embarrassed
« So where are we going ? » She asks
« SURPRISE » He says
She looks at him
« You know I hate you when you do that » She says
« I knoww » He replies with this smiles he always does
[They are at the table in a restaurant]
« So what are we celebrating bc I didn't wear this uncomfortable dress for nothing right ? » She says looking at him in the eyes
« Maybe not » He says
She stares at him smiling
« You know I love you right ? » He says
« No pleaseee stop this » She says laugh
He raises up

Chris stares at him thinking in her head « pls don't do that...not now »

He stares at her starting laughing
« What ? » She says don't knowing why he's laughing
He raises up
«I'm kidding, do you really think I would propose you here, now ?» He says still laughing like a kid
« Oh god I was going to have a heart attack » She says
« Some day I will but not today..».
He sits down again
« I have something else to tell you » He says
She stares at him
« And what is it ? » She asks
« You know I saw the doctor this morning ? » He says
« Yesss... » She says with an hesitant voice
« I did some test and... » He says
« What ? » she asks thinking of the worst theories
« I'm clear for duty » He says smiling like he was 12

She raises up and get out of her chair to kiss and hug him
« Why did you not tell me sooner ?» She asks
« Be cause I wanted to do it right not...with a text » He answers
« So when are you back ? » She says
« Next week » He says
« This Monday ? » She asks
« YES » He answers
She stares at him, stars in her eyes
He takes her hand on the table
