Speeding through the dark night, I get further and further away from this city. I take the only route that makes it possible to get out of this restricted town and for now it has been an empty street, except for one or two cars cruzing around like I am. Anger takes over me as I think again of the murder of my family, along with the murder of my best friend, my soul; Jace.
As I shuffle through my playlist, I get the sudden urge to stop and get something to eat. Luckily I drive passed a gas station and decide to stop there to quickly fill up my hungry tummy.
I jump out of the car, a five dollar bill in my hands, and enter the gas station shop to grab myself a pack of oreos. I pay and when I get out of the shop, a car furiously arrives at the gas station and halts. A boy I had the pleasure to meet comes jumping out of his car to fill his tank up I suppose. I smile as I see his familiar face and decide to walk up to him, because to be honest I wonder why he is in such a rush at this time of the night.
"Hi there stranger !" I greet, my arms crossed around my body with a amused smirk on my lips. He is quick to look up to me and confusion washes over his face once he recognises me.
"Well well well, isn't that miss perfect in person." He smiles and stops what he is doing. "What the hell are you doing here at this time of the night ?"
"I could ask you the same thing M.Osler." I eye him suspiciously. "I am just driving for a bit. Get things of my mind you know ?"
"Oh totally get it, kinda doing the same thing here." Will smirks my way as he leans on his car, his arms mimicking mine. "Is that your car ?" He indicates the Mustang with his head, a small frown on his traits. I slowly nod at his question, watching closely how his expression turns into shock, his mouth slightly hanging open. I even hear him curse under his breath and can't help myself but to chuckle.
"Wanna do something nice ?" He suddenly says with an evil grin plastered on his lips and by the looks of it I already know it will not be a simple thing. Or far from a good thing.
"Get in your car and Follow me miss perfect. I'll pay for the gas and then we can head off." He states and I feel my anxiety bubble inside of me. What the hell am I getting myself into ?
Minutes later we are on an empty road, William driving in front of me to bring us to a place that looks nothing like a safe space. I remember to turn my location off just in case my brothers wake up and decide to check on my whereabouts. But maybe I should leave it on in case I end up dead...
I swallow a lump in my throat when we get off the main road to head into a road made of dirt. I shouldn't have come here. Jace wouldn't have let that happen. Dirt and dust flies up in the air when both our cars pass by this abandoned road. We even enter a forest at one point and I really hesitate at that moment to turn back around and leave this idea in the trash.
