They pulled up to the castle in two cars. There were people everywhere, and it annoyed Joon. He hates people, but they are drawn to them because of what they are. Women flock to them like they are the sole water source and have been walking in the desert for days. The young ones enjoy it, but these women are like mosquitos to him. They were standing together drinking champagne when the pompous King approached the balcony and addressed them like they were beneath him.

"I wanted to take this opportunity to thank everyone for coming out on such short notice. I wouldn't have believed you if you had told me last week that my dear niece Princess Amethyst would come home. But it's true: After 18 years, she is back. She was stolen away from us, but tonight, we find her a husband."

"Fuck that shit, I'm not marrying anyone." The crowd heard from behind the King, making everyone in the room uncomfortable except them. They laughed because it was hilarious. Feisty women are their bread and butter. The King didn't skip a beat; he kept talking.

"So, for the moment, you've all been waiting for Princess Amethyst." He waved his hand, beckoning her forward.

The most beautiful woman he'd ever seen walked toward the King. She had a scowl on her face, her blonde hair was done up, and she was wearing her tiara. Her gown was deep purple. She was a tiny little thing, and Joon was in love. He turned to Hobi, "I want her."

He saw the look in his eye; he wanted her, too. "Well, the King wants to find her a husband. There are seven of us; the odds are in our favor."

She walked up to the balcony, "Hi, I'm Violet. I'm not interested in any of you, so please drink your fill and leave me the fuck alone." Then she turned around and was gone. The King was glaring at her like he wanted to throttle her.

"I think I'm in love," Jimin whispered next to them.

"Let's be her husband because she is amazing."

Joon smirked at Yoongi, "Already on it, brother. Spread out, and someone try to talk to her."

He walked to an alcove to drink and watch, "King Namjoon?"

Joon turned around and saw someone he hadn't seen in 20 years. She was a little older, but she still looked amazing. "Jennifer, is that you?"

"It is, I. Well, the Princess needs your help. I'm afraid she's in danger. Can you talk to the King and ask for her hand?"

The King narrowed his eyes, "You trust her with a bunch of vampires but not her Uncle?"

She sighed, "I think the King is why her parents are dead, and I had to run with her. I need her safe. She's special, exceptional. And I think that she could make you happy."

He scratched his chin, "you know it's not just me? I may be the King, but there are seven of us."

She blushed, "I'm aware of your lifestyle, Namjoon, but please know she's completely untouched, so if you marry her, please be gentle."

"You said in your note that we'd find something we've been missing for a long time?"

"And you will if you marry her. Please, I've kept her hidden for 18 years to ensure she's safe. I can't let him hurt her."

Joon sighed, "Well, lucky for you, we are all extremely interested in her. So I'll go talk to the King now."

She wrapped her arms around him and was practically in tears; she swiped the tears away and said she was going before the Princess did something she was not supposed to. He nodded because he didn't know what to say to that. It didn't take Joon long to find him; he always spoke loudly enough that everyone within a 20-foot radius knew precisely what he was saying.

"King Anwir, could I talk to you privately for a moment?" He glared at Joon briefly, but he knew what he was and that Joon was not to be crossed. Joon followed him to a study; the King sat down on the other side of the desk and looked at him. "Okay, I guess I'm starting," Joon mumbled to himself. "I want to marry the Princess; name your price, and I'm taking her tonight."

"10 million," he said with a sneer.

Joon snorted. He would have paid ten times that for her. "Done. Please give me your details; you'll have the money soon. I don't want to wait any longer; I want the Princess and her Nanny."

"I'm afraid you can't have the Nanny; she must be punished for stealing the Princess."

He didn't like where that was heading, "is there any way we could negotiate that?"

The King shook his head. No, "She's already being hauled off as we speak. I'll make the announcement if you follow me." The two Kings walked out to the balcony, and he told everyone that the Princess was now engaged to Joon. He could hear her cussing up a storm from another room, but he needed to get her out.

"I'm not marrying you; I don't care how much you paid for me," she sneered.

The Vampire stalked over to her, "Oh, Princess, I would have paid so much more. I got you for a pretty cheap price. Now get your shit together, we are leaving in 10."

"Where's Nanny? I want her to come with me."

He wanted to lie and tell her she'd be right behind them, but that bastard was enjoying what he was doing. "She's currently being chained up in the dungeon as punishment."

"What, why? She raised me and kept me safe for 18 years," she was screaming and borderline hysterical.

Joon walked towards her and wrapped his arm around her waist. "I promise to get her out, but I need you to pack your stuff and leave with me now. Do you understand?"

"There's nothing I must have here; let's just go. But if you break your promise, know that I am skilled with blades, and I will kill you in your sleep." Then she spun around and walked off.

Yup, he was in love, and she had no idea what he was.
