"I was there when she got her first tooth, rolled over, and sat up. I helped her with her first steps. Her first word was Bay; she couldn't say Blake, and I had trouble calling her Amethyst, so I called her Violet." He chuckled, "I got in so much trouble for changing her name, but I didn't care. Amethyst never felt right. The night she left, I woke up to lots of yelling. The castle was under attack, guards everywhere, and no one knew what was happening. I did what I was training for. I ran to my Princess."

He looked at Vi with tears streaming down his face, "You were standing up in your crib screaming, but as soon as you saw me, you stopped, and you smiled so big. You raised your arms and repeatedly yelled, "Bay until I picked you up." He breathed, "I heard men shouting, and it was getting closer, so I took you. I ran to your balcony and hid. It was cold, so you curled into me. Thank Goodness because it kept you quiet. I had locked the doors so no one could reach us; they'd assume it was locked to keep you inside. It's not like a baby could reach it."

"I heard them; they were searching for you, yelling and screaming about having to find you and kill you. You whimpered quietly, but I just held you tighter. After a while, they finally left, but I was too scared to leave the balcony's safety. It wasn't until I heard your mother's voice that I got up."

He wiped his tears away, "I got up and walked back into your room. The relief that washed over her face made it feel like I did my job. She ran over to me and pulled us into a hug. She told me that I did great, and she was forever in my debt. Then she got down to look me in the eye and told me she had to send you away for your safety. I started crying; I wanted to go with you. I couldn't keep you safe if I weren't with you. She sighed and finally agreed."

"She told me to meet her in your Nanny's room in 15 minutes, and we'll escape. I ran back to my room and threw some things into my backpack, but the soldiers were fighting when I made it to the hallway. My Dad saw me, and because of that distraction, he was murdered. I ran to his side, and that same soldier ran his sword through me. I thought I was dying. All I could think of was, I hope she's safe."

He stood up, "When they called and told me that you were back, I was so happy. But before I could even get back and see you, the King had sold you off. I had been sent to the other side of the country to check on the training for new guards. When I saw you that day, the day that you threatened me, I wanted to tell you who I really was. But you didn't need Bay; you needed Blake."

He walked over to her side of the bed and kneeled, "I will protect you with my life, your majesty."

She reached out and palmed his face. When his eyes slid closed, it took everything in Kook not to snap. "I don't need your life, Blake, but I'll gladly take your protection when I can't do it myself."

He thanked her as she wiped his tears away, and then it was like nothing had ever happened. He stood up and said he'd be outside if they needed anything. "Can I kill him?"

Vi turned to look at Jungkook and bared her teeth at him, "If you do, I'll stab you repeatedly. He saved my life, Kookie; if not for him, I wouldn't be here right now."

He sighed and threw his body back on the bed, "fine, but could you not be so touchy?"

"Aww, is my little Kookie jealous?"

His eyes flashed red. "There is nothing on me that is little Princess, and as much as I'd love to remind you of that, I need you to go to sleep."

She smiled and ran her finger down his chest, "well.."

"Not happening; I'll use the imprint if I have to."

"I doubt it'll work."

He narrowed his eyes. "Want to try me?" Then he leaned into her space and kissed her neck. "I need you to go to sleep, Princess. Can you do that for me?"

Her eyes were starting to waver, and she shook her head back and forth quickly, "No, no, I can't."

He smiled, "Sure, you can. You want to sleep so badly; you are so tired, and it would make me so happy."

"Well, I do want you to be happy, and I am tired," she mumbled.

Jungkook smirked down at his sleeping Princess, good it worked. Jin said that she didn't think it would work anymore, and when he told the younger ones what they did, they didn't know it would, with him at least. They shared blood and sex all at the same time, add in the baby and yeah Kook didn't think Jin will ever be able to use the imprint against her. But apparently, he still could. He won't, though; he only did it this time because he was worried about her.

She's exhausted, running on fumes and adrenaline at this point. It's not good for the baby, and if she's going to be stubborn, then so will he. Jungkook was going to go back to sleep, but it was almost nighttime anyway, and he wanted to make sure that no one disturbed her. So before everyone could crash in there, he'll get her out of her gorgeous dress and the sexy leather pants she's wearing.

He got her in one of his shirts and tucked her back in. He unpinned her crown, sat it on the nightstand, and then went to get a rag to wash her makeup off. She's so gorgeous, even right now, with her mouth slightly open, a bit of drool on the pillow, and light snores from her mouth.
