Chapter 34

Jungkook reached forward and tucked her hair behind her ear. She leaned into his hand and closed her eyes slowly. "Are you feeling better? There's no hangover, right?"

She blinked her eyes open slowly; they were a beautiful honey brown. "I've never actually had a hangover; every time I've drank, I fall asleep, and when I wake up, I'm sober. I have a superpower."

Or she has vampires feeding her their blood to sober her up. "Well, that's a great superpower to have." He sighed, "Are you hungry?"

"Yeah, I should eat before I head to bed for the night."

Kook pulled her up, and the two of them went to the kitchen. He looked through the pantry until he found something to make: "Alfredo pasta, alright?"

"That's perfect, Jungkook."

When he set the plate in front of her, he sat beside her while she ate. She was subconsciously leaning towards him, so he scooted his chair closer. Tae walked in before she had even finished her meal. "Babe, can I do it before we head to bed?"

She nodded softly and leaned her head to the side; he bit her. She moaned quietly, but then she blushed and looked at him. When he smiled, she looked away shyly and started shoving her food into her mouth faster. "How did you sober up so fast? I don't taste any alcohol in your system."

She shrugged her shoulder, "Every time I drink, I fall asleep, and I wake up sober."

Tae looked at Kook and narrowed his eyes, but he played the innocent card. "Come on, babe, let's head to bed. The sun will be up soon."

'You can take her, Taehyungie, but tomorrow I'm finishing this,' Jungkook grumbled as he glared at them. She looked at him, almost like she was sad to leave the youngest.

"Here, you can wear this," Tae tossed her a shirt and a pair of his boxers. "There's a toothbrush and your pads and tampons on the back of the toilet. She nodded and then headed in there.

When she walked into the bathroom, she looked at the back of his toilet, a cute little basket with her pads and tampons. That was sweet of him. Vi got ready for bed, and when she looked at herself in the mirror, she wanted to smack herself. Vi, yes, some of them are great. But eventually, you'll have to sleep with all of them, and you aren't ready for that. 

If you don't leave, you'll fall under their spell even more than you already have. She barely knew them, but she got excited to see Jungkook, Yoongi, and Jin. As soon as they walk into the room, she wants to smile and run to them. Yes, Jimin is fun, as is Tae. And Hobi and Joon are such calming people to be around. But she wasn't ready for sexual relationships, and she wasn't given much of a choice.

He knocked on the door, "Babe, are you okay?"

Vi shook his head, "Oh yeah, sorry. I was staring off into space. I guess I was more tired than I thought." She opened the door, and he stood there looking so concerned. Don't fall for it, Vi. They are Vampires, and you are going to spend the rest of your life, which is going to be forever, being at their mercy.

"Don't worry; I just wanted to ensure you were okay."

She patted his chest, "I'm heading to bed, Tae." He watched her go, and once she was snuggled under the covers, he went into the bathroom and did whatever he did before bed.

Vi felt his arms wrap around her. "Night, babe," he whispered in Vi's ear.

"Night Tae."

When she woke up the next morning, she was so hot. Tae was practically lying on top of her, and the heat coming off of his body was almost suffocating. It took Vi nearly 20 minutes to get out from under him. She went to shower and get dressed. Maybe she could convince Jungkook to drive her around town so she could find a way to escape.

She must have stood in the shower way longer than she thought. She heard a knock at the door. "Are you in there?"

The princess turned the water off and wrapped herself in a towel. She opened the door slowly and looked into his big doe eyes, "Morning, Kookie."

"Morning. Do you want to head out with me for the day?"

Vi perked up, "of course I do!"

His smile was so cute. "Alright, get dressed. I laid your clothes out. I'll see you in 20." Then he was gone. She looked at the clothes he laid out: black skinny jeans, a band T-shirt, and Jordans. They were not exactly her style, but at least she'd be comfortable. She threw her hair up and skipped all the makeup. When she went to leave the room, he was waiting for her out in the hallway.

He bent down in front of her, "hop on."

Vi blushed so hard, but she did as he asked. He gave her a piggyback ride to his car. They drove for a bit; she didn't even try to make conversation. She just looked around, trying to map out the town and find a way to escape. "Are you hungry?"

"A little," she was still looking out the window, but she didn't want him to get suspicious, so she turned to smile at him. "Can we go get something?"

"How about donuts? Jennifer told us that you love donuts."

That perked her up, "I freaking love donuts!"

He laughed at her antics, which made her giggle. "Well, this is going to sound strange, but the best donut shop in town is at the bus station. It gets a lot of foot traffic because of the passengers, but it's been there for over 100 years."

The bus station? The Gods must be on her side. Jimin showed her that they all have cards to get out, Tae showed her about the garage and his ATM code, and now Jungkook is showing her the bus station. "It's your home, so if you say it's the best, then that's where we'll go."
