Vi was on bed rest for most of the pregnancy, much like she was with Stella. But she slept a lot more this time around. Growing four humans was exhausting to the extreme. There was no way she would have survived without the seven of them. They kept her clean and fed and entertained her, both awake and asleep.
Imprinting with them was the best decision she ever made. Yeah, at first, she was pissed, but now it's a lifesaver. She was currently fishing with Jin out in the middle of the lake. "I think I'd rather just sleep than do this. It's so freaking boring, Jin."
He scoffed, "You just don't appreciate how amazing this is."
Vi rolled her eyes and adjusted the towel to lie down and get some sun. She wasn't pregnant in the dreams, so she could drink, act crazy, and even sit up unassisted. Don't get her wrong; she loved her kids, but having these little escapes was nice.
She made it to 30 weeks before she went into labor; it was too early. They were premature. She was in full-blown panic mode, but Jungkook was a great support. He reminded her that they were Vampires and that they'd grow fast and be strong.
Adam, Ezra, Ashley, and Essa were tiny, not more than 3 pounds each. The boys had hazel eyes and blonde hair, and the girls had dark hair and eyes that looked black. The girls looked like Jungkook with big doe eyes, and the boys looked like Vi.
She sat on her throne and groaned; these Dukes were going to kill her with their stupidity and neediness. They are worse than her children. "When do you, I don't know, pass on your Dukedom to your kid?"
He gawked at Vi like she was insane, "why do you ask?"
The Queen threw her knife up in the air a few times before she answered, "Because I'm hoping he is less of a pompous ass than you are and way easier to work with."
She heard a few snickers from the younger Dukes; they got along great. They were all about change and moving forward. Making changes for the better of both Kingdoms, the crusty old dudes were holding onto the glory days.
When she left the throne room, Blake was there with Chance, "what are you two up to?"
Chance bounced up and down, "Blake said that he'd take me horseback riding and teach me how to shoot my bow and arrow from the horse."
Vi's eyes went wide, "why do you want to learn that baby?"
She scoffed, "I'm not a baby. Not even the Quads are babies anymore. They are almost fully grown. If I'm going to lead my people, I need to learn."
"I guess it's not like we ride into battles on horseback anymore. We also only use bows to hunt." Blake looked guilty as hell, "spill it, bro before I stab you."
He sighed like Vi was the most annoying person in the world. "Well, if she did well with this, I was going to teach her how to use a rifle. And pending how that went, we'd move on to other weapons."
Vi just started laughing; he looked at her like she was crazy. "What's so freaking funny?"
She looked at Jin as he walked up and smirked at Chance and Blake, who looked hella guilty. "Have fun telling him about your brilliant plans." Then she walked off, listening to Jin yell and scream at them about how he couldn't possibly let his baby do that and how they could even suggest such a crazy idea.
"What did you do? You have on your naughty face."
She looked at Jimin and bit her lip. "I didn't do anything except get Seokjin off on a rant, and I left Blake and Chance to deal with it."
He laughed and wrapped his arm around her shoulder, saying, "You are truly evil. I love it."
"Where are the twins?"
He snorted, "terrorizing Yoongi, who wants nothing more than to nap."
"Where are his twins?"
"Terrorizing Joonie in your office. They want more responsibilities now that they are adults."
Vi pouted, "but they aren't. Not really."
He kissed her softly, "Babe, in our world, they are adults. I know it's strange, but really, you are the baby here."
She smacked his chest with annoyance, "Hey, I'm a full immortal now, you asshat."
"I still can't believe our kids are Purple-blooded Vampires."
"Me either. Do you think they can go in the sun once they are fully Vampires?"
He thought about it briefly, "Honestly, I think they will be. I guess we'll know in a few centuries."
Their life was great; they loved each other with all of their beings. Stella didn't want the crown, but Braxton did. Joon agreed that if he wanted to be King, he'd make it happen once he became a full Vampire. So he spends his days studying how to be a King with Dayton as his right-hand man and most trusted advisor.
Chance got her wish, and she was in charge of the Army. Stella wanted to be a painter. She was really good at it. Her Appa Jungkook spent a lot of time with her, teaching her everything he knew. The day that he had nothing left to teach her, Vi thought he was going to cry. But he was so proud of how far she had come.
Colton was their scholar; he studied everything he could get his hands on. He was nothing like his rambunctious sunshine father but more like his Appa Joon. He was always reading and learning. He soaked up knowledge like a sponge soaked up water.
