"Hobi, what is this?"
"Your car, Jungkook, and Tae, told us how much you enjoy driving. So we bought you a car."
Vi turned around and looked at him, "I don't even know what to say. Thank you, but it doesn't seem like enough."
"There's no need to thank me; we want you happy." Then he waved the keys in front of her, "Do you want to go drive?"
She snatched the keys out of his hand. "Hell, yes, I do." She started the car, and it was effortless to handle. Granted, she still didn't like going over 30 mph, but she was sure she'd get better with time.
"Hey, pull into the parking lot over there. There's a store I think you'll like."
Vi did as he instructed. She pulled into the spot and put the car in park. He pointed towards a store, and she followed his finger. Her mouth dropped open. "Since you know it's a girl, you might want to buy a few things."
She reached over and pulled him into a hug. "Thank you, Hobi. That is so incredibly sweet of you." They walked into the store holding hands. She wanted to look at everything. "Have any of you had children before?"
He breathed, "No, why do you ask?"
She shrugged, "Isn't Jin about 1,000 years old? That's a long time to have not had any children."
"We didn't want children until we found our wife."
Her hand went to her tiny tummy, "I hope I have a choice in the matter next time."
Hobi sighed and pulled her over to look at him, "I promise everything will be your choice now. If you truly and honestly don't want to get married, Joon will not push it; he'll spend the rest of his life making you fall in love with him."
"And what about you, Hobi? Are you willing to wait no matter how long it takes?"
He kissed her forehead softly, "even if it takes the rest of my life."
"Good," Vi said before she walked off to look at clothes. They didn't give her any choices, Jin mainly, but these past several months have been excellent. They've been patient, kind, and loving. They've taken the time to get to know her, really know her. They dated her how a man dates a woman he's interested in.
Vi saw a pink onesie with a glittery tiara; it said Daddy's Little Princess. It made her smile; Jin would love this. He fucked up; he fucked up so hard that she didn't think she'd ever be able to forgive him. But he's shown her how sorry he is every day since she returned. She could keep the anger inside and hate him for the rest of their long lives, or she could forgive him, and they could raise their daughter together.
His arms wrapped around her. "Are you going to get it?" Vi nodded, "Yes, he's going to love it."
She went to pay and asked if they could gift wrap it for her. It was folded in a small silver box with a pink satin ribbon. "Let's head back. I'm starting to get hungry, and I'm sure she's snitched on me to her father by now."
Hobi looked sad momentarily and then smiled, "What's wrong?"
He shook his head no, "it's nothing."
Her hand rested on his arm, "please tell me; I don't like it when you guys hide things from me."
He sighed, "This is going to sound so petty, but I'm jealous. When you are pregnant with your child, I want to know what they want to eat. But it won't happen."
"And why is that?"
"You have to be imprinted with the vampire for the baby to be able to speak to their father."
"Oh," she whispered. But honestly, the idea of drinking their blood sounds fantastic right now.
"Oh," he whispered back. He patted her hand, "Come on, let's head home."
As they walked in the door, Jin slid a bowl of bean soup across the counter. Once she started eating, he pulled the cake out of the oven. "It should be cool as soon as you finish your second helping."
"I got you something."
He flinched a little. His hands were on the counter, leaning over it a bit. He shook his head slightly, but he wouldn't turn around. "Oh yeah, what did you get me?"
It sounded like he was crying. "Well, I have it right here if you want to see for yourself."
He swiped his hands across his cheeks and turned around, putting on a fake smile. Vi handed it to him. He slowly pulled the ribbon, and then off came the lid. His fingers reached out, and he traced the letters on Daddy's. Tears were falling down his eyes. "Thank you," he whispered so softly.
He grabbed the onesie and held it to his face as he slid to the floor. He was rocking back and forth, bawling into this tiny pink onesie. "I'm so sorry; I'm so sorry. I know you can never forgive me, but I truly am sorry. I love you, Vi, so much, and I let my selfish pride get in the way. I'm so incredibly sorry, and I will never be able to make it up to you."
She hopped down from her seat and walked over to him. She touched his arm, and he fell into her. His head was in her lap, and he still had the onesie covering his face. Vi just sat there and stroked his hair until he stopped crying. "Here, I'll take him."
"Thank you, My King."
Joon reached down, picked Jin up, and carried him to his room. She was going to go to her room or find one of the youngest three to watch a movie with, but she was still hungry. She wanted more bean soup and then the cake that Jin had promised. So she made herself another bowl and got to eating. Once she was done, he walked over to the cake. It is perfectly cooled and ready to be iced.
The cake was delicious, and she had headed off to find someone by the time she was done. She needed cuddles. Yoongi was the first one she came across, and as soon as she saw him, she ran into his arms.
"Are you okay, Princess?"
