"Tell us again," Ashley yelled at her brother, who was reading a story to all the little vampires.

Adam rolled his eyes, "We've heard this story a million times, and it's literally our story. Why do you make me read this every night?" He was whining, but she didn't care.

"Because our parents did a shit job at documentation, and I will not let our Epic story not be told right."

He grumbled, but continued. "And that's when Daddy decided that Mommy was the prettiest?"

Adam smiled at Lexi, Lia and Day's daughter; the heir to the throne, and his adorable niece. He'll never forget the meltdown that was her birth. Day passed out, and Brax had to hold Lia's hand and count for her while Jeonghan tried unsuccessfully to wake him up.

"It was; your Dad was head over heels for your Mom. Uncle Jeonghan had to help him so many times when he was being stupid."

"I was not stupid," Day scoffed.

"You were sorta stupid," Lia whispered back with a smile.

"What about my Mommy?"

Adam looked at Miles and snorted, "I'm not dumb enough to call your Mommy anything but nice things."

"Is that because she likes to stab people?"

"It was one time," Chance groaned from where she was hiding her face in her husband's chest.

"It's been a bit more than once."

"What about my Daddy?"

Adam and Ashley snorted, "Your father, the King Consort of Libernia, had no idea what to do about your grandmother and grandfather."

Aurora snorted as she kissed Colton on the side of the head, "I knew he was mine when he walked over to me and asked me to dance."

"In my defense, I asked so I could get out of matchmaking, not to find a wife." He kissed his wife back, and as his hand went to her swollen belly, baby number 3 was on the way. "But I wouldn't change it for anything."

"Sorry we are late," Stella cried as she ran in with Adriel hot on her heels, "big blowout, massive, the worst."

"It was like barely a blowout," he rolled his eyes at his wife, who was over dramatically describing their son's diaper debacle.

"I have the snacks," Ezra yelled.

"And I have drinks," Essa shouted right after him.

Hannie stayed in his seat, and his son was fast asleep on his lap while Hoshi grabbed them a drink. He reached down and brushed the hair that had fallen into his face; he'll never forget the day six months ago when they found a baby on a routine practice mission. The baby had been left for dead; they weren't sure he'd even survive. But they had to try. Now, he was healthy and thriving.

"Where are the twins?" Vi asked Jimin, who shrugged his shoulder.

"Last I'd heard, Seungkwan was trying his hardest to find some specific ice cream she just had to have."

"Poor guy, it's pumpkin spice; there's no way they'll find it at the beginning of summer."

"Don't fret, family, for I, your humble King, have saved the day."

"Shut up, Tennon, or I'll keep your heir inside me, and you'll have to butter up another sibling to have one."

Tennon rolled his eyes. That was not going to happen. They had finally found a guy who could handle both of them and even enjoyed it. So when the talk of kids came up, Tennon was more than happy to announce Seungkwan and Tally's baby as his heir.

"I can't believe that we are about to add two more babies to the family; this is so amazing." Vi was so happy; her family was everything to her.

"Maybe we should have another," Jimin whispered as he nipped at her neck. Faster than he could even see, a knife was out and at his throat, "I was kidding."

"Twins Jimin, never again."

"Is that why Mommy stabs people?"

"Miles," Chance grumbled.

"What? You always yell about it at home."

Vi snorted and smiled at her oldest child. They were so alike in so many ways. "It's okay; a good stabbing helps a lot of issues."

"Never in my life has a stabbing ever helped," Blake scoffed from where he had his head lying in his husband's lap.

"Finish the story, Adam, before both Chance and I start to stab lots of people."

So he did. He finished the story of how a purple blood fell in love with seven Vampires, and they had purple blood vampire children. Then, their children started to marry. Some were humans who were later turned into vampires, and others were already vampires. But so far, every little baby that was born into the family was a purple-blooded vampire who will forever be able to walk in the sun.

"How about we take him to the zoo tomorrow," Minghao whispered into his wife's ear.

"You'll have to drink a lot; you know he'll want to stay there all day."

He kissed the shell of her ear, "and you know I'm more than okay with that." Her blood wasn't as potent as her mother's, but it was still enough to allow her husband to walk in the sun.
