Blake all but pushed her into the bathroom, "I'll go get a maid to help you get ready. But you must hurry, Your Majesty."
She shut the door and started the shower. There was no time to wash her hair, so dry shampoo it was. By the time she was done, the maid and seamstress were walking in. The dress they were carrying was amazing. "I made a few adjustments on this dress last night after your announcement; I figured you'd need it."
Vi walked over to the black dress with red jewels all over it. The way they were sewn on almost looked like drops of blood. It was a high-low dress, but the front was a lot shorter than most high-low dresses she'd ever seen. She was about to say something, but then she saw the leather pants. "It's beautiful. I love it."
The seamstress smiled and looked so relieved. Vi was sure that after the lady heard that she had killed her Uncle, she was scared of her. "I cut a normal ball gown so you could wear pants but still look elegant; then I added the jewels to remind them how dangerous you are."
Vi pulled her in for a hug, and she squeaked a bit, "Thank you. It's perfect. I never want anyone else to make my clothes. Will you make my wedding dress?"
"Of course, your majesty."
They got her ready. She had on black leather skinny pants with heeled boots. The dress was on, and it flowed out behind her. Her hair was left down, but her crown was on. She left the jewelry off, not wanting to get any of it dirty, just in case she needed to stab someone. Her makeup was dark and dangerous. "I'm ready."
Blake held out his arm, and he escorted the Queen to the throne room; he wasn't kidding. They were pissed. She could hear their yelling from down the hall. The doors were opened, and Blake announced her arrival. All eyes snapped to Vi, but she couldn't care at all. She just headed to her throne. She flopped in it and turned a bit to the side; Vi threw her legs over the armrest on the left. She pulled a knife out and twirled it around on her finger. Not enough to cut it, but to play with it.
"Are you going to say anything?"
Before Vi could even get a word out, Blake stepped in front of her a bit, "This is your Queen; you are talking to Duke Smith."
The Duke looked like he wanted to punch Blake. He looked at Vi and sneered. "Are you going to address us, your majesty?"
He looked like he was going to choke on those words. So she smirked, shrugged her shoulder, and continued ignoring him. She wanted him to stew a bit. Right when she knew he was about to explode, she started talking. "What's the point? It's done. None of your bitching and whining can change that now."
"Does that mean that Vampires will be allowed to live here?"
What a strange question, of course, they will be. "Just as you will be able to live there."
He looked pale, "you'll allow those filthy creatures to live in our Kingdom? You'd have their children grow up next to ours?"
A hand went to her stomach; what's up with all this hatred? "Well, considering I'm carrying one of their children and will have many more, yes, that will happen." Then she stood up and walked towards him, "if you have a problem with it I can contact the King of Reese, I'm sure he'd take your ungrateful and hateful ass."
"But what about our land, our titles?"
The Queen scoffed, "That's what you care about?" When he nodded yes, she laughed, "None of that will change, asshat, literally everything is staying the same. This will still be Ellesfire; you'll just have a much closer relationship with Averna than other countries. We'll even spend time here; I just won't always be here as I can't run two countries and have a baby. I will have to rely on my husband, and it's just easier this way."
"You could step down, let someone else become King. Someone that plans on staying here, permanently."
Blake was way madder than she was. "You just want to be King yourself. I'm surprised that you didn't murder the King yourself." Smitt paled a little. Ahh, he's thought about it. This means he's probably thought about killing her ever since he found out that she was becoming the Queen.
Vi smiled, it was a creepy smile but she needed him a little scared of her. She stalked towards him, and he didn't even notice that her knife was now against his femoral artery. "You will never be King, nor will your children or your grandchildren. Since my husbands and I are immortal, we plan on being here for a long time."
"You are one of them?" His eyes went wide, and she realized her mistake. He thought she was a vampire. Oh well, it's time to roll with it.
"And if I am?" She pushed the knife in where he could feel it, not enough to cut him, but enough to let him know that she could have him dead in seconds.
He paled and tried to step back, but she followed him, "know this Duke. I like to stab people; I like it a lot. If you piss me off, I can and will stab you, then I'll hand you over to one of my big strong, sexy Vampires, and we'll enjoy draining you of all of your blood. Do I make myself clear?"
"Ye.. Yes, Your Majesty." If they don't love or respect her, they will fear her. It's the only thing that will keep her and their children safe.
She removed the knife and clapped her hands together, "now, if I've addressed all of your issues, I have a lot of things I need to do." They all bowed as she marched out of the room, Blake hot on her trail.
"Where are you going, your majesty?"
"My office Blake, I have a lot of shit to sign to get this merger done."
