Year 2015

"Please, Miss, let me change my partner! I won't finish my last year if I'm paired with that psychopath!" I shouted at the professor for the seventh time.

"Amalia, stop! It's a new comprehensive way of learning. The result will be better teaching and understanding of pupils' way of thinking. One way or another, you would have to have lectures with the psychology course. This is why our university paired our students from the education course with the students from the psychology course. Fate had it that you got paired with Mr Black. Stop acting so childish and cooperate with him as everyone does with their partner!" The professor calmly explained as she kept rubbing her temples.

"But you don't understand-"

"Is there something wrong?"

As I turned around, I saw the devil in person. "Fuck!" I shouted and moved a step backwards. He scared the life out of me.

"Ms Stevens, please refrain from using such language." The professor said to me before turning to Neil and continuing in a sweet voice: "Good afternoon, Mr Black. There's nothing wrong. I'm just trying to explain to Ms Stevens that you're already paired and that she should accept that."

The professor looked back at me and said: "I'm gonna' grab a cup of coffee. Try to get to know one another while I'm gone. Make an effort. Especially you, Ms Stevens." The professor walked out of her office and closed the door behind her, leaving us alone.

"I'm not going to be your friend."

His fake smile faded. "Oh, I don't want to be friends."

"We have something in common. Now leave me the fuck alone!"

"I can't leave my Puppy alone, can I? You've been a bad girl-"

Anger and disgust rose in me. "Don't call me that!"

"Do you think that I was joking when I said that I'll leak out the photos? I have the one that your brother is over you-"

"Stop!"

He looked down at me with those green eyes that sparkled in amusement, waiting for me to continue. "What do you even want from me?"

He started moving closer and closer to me. I backed away from him, until I hit the wall. He was approaching me as a hungry lion does its prey. Neil put his hands on each side of my body and looked down at me. "I want you to obey me."

"No!"

His hand moved slowly like a snake, wrapping around my neck.

"Let go of me!" I shouted and struggled to get free.

His grip tightened as he spoke: "Struggle, Puppy." His eyes radiated maniac.

During a couple of days working with him, I noticed that amusement is the fuel that drives this man to torment me. I can't let him do whatever he wants.

"Stop calling me that! Let me the fuck go!!" I shouted at him while fighting to get free.

His lips curled into a smug grin as he said: "And if I don't, what will you do?"

I looked into his eyes which sparkled in sadistic enjoyment. I shouted at him: "You fucking psychopath! Quit treating me like a dog! You're a bully who's sick in his mind!"

His grip tightened around my neck. "Oh, Puppy. Tsk, tsk, tsk, you still don't get it that you should respect me." His voice sounded as if he was scolding me.

My lungs started to dry like an autumn leaf as his grip tightened. A tear rolled down my cheek as he watched me struggle.

"Oh, don't cry, Puppy. This is only the price of your education. If you had behaved, I wouldn't have to do this, but here we are. You disappointed me, but I like it when you do. I get more enjoyment from making you good again," he said almost lovingly before wiping the travelling tear.
