"How do you feel?"

I looked up at him and said: "Sticky. I want to take a bath."

"You're so cute." He placed a small kiss on my cheek. I blushed at his sweetness. He cupped my cheek and I leaned into it, closing my eyes.

"Is my good girl in her puppy headspace?" he asked before giving me another kiss.

I looked at him in confusion. "Let me explain. Sometimes you go into a state of mind where you relax and let everything go. Your mind goes blank. When you do that, you sometimes act like a little puppy. At that time, you just need some praise, a sweet word or a caress and you melt into a puddle."

I looked at him in shock: "That's not true!"

"Now, now, don't throw a tantrum."

He stood up before saying: "Let's go have a warm bath."

"But-" he kissed me to shut me up.

He carried me to the bathroom, where he gently placed me in the bathtub. After I undressed, I opened the tab and let the water flow in. I leaned on the cold wall and yawned. I watched him undress. After that, he sat behind me and wrapped his arms around my body.

Christmas was coming. I didn't really have plans. If I wasn't dating Neil, I would probably go out to eat with Laura and then get drunk at her place.

There is about a week till Christmas, so we have time to come up with something.

"Neil?"

He poked my cheek with his nose before whispering into my ear: "Call me Master."

"Master?" I whispered back.

"Yes, Puppy."

"Christmas is coming up."

"Yes?"

"Are we going to plan something?"

He quickly replied: "No."

He must be joking!

I looked back at him in shock. He had a strange expression painted on his face. He looked sad and angry at the same time.

I wanted to celebrate Christmas with him so badly that I insisted: "I thought about getting a real Christmas tree that we can put up at your place or mine, and we could bake some cookies. Maybe I still have some ornaments at my place." I was playing with the water surrounding us.

"We won't be celebrating it."

At this point, he got out of the bathtub. I watched in shock. He started drying himself. He wrapped a towel around his hips.

I stood up and said: "Can we please-"

He quickly looked at me and angrily shouted: "Puppy, drop it! We aren't celebrating it. Don't you dare plan something behind my back! If I see even one thing related to that holiday in your hands, I won't be held responsible for what I'll do to ya. Now sit down or you'll fall."

"Why?" I whined.

"I'll say it for the last time. DROP IT!" He stormed out of the bathroom slamming the door behind himself.

It's just Christmas. Everyone celebrates Christmas.

What's wrong with him?

I quickly washed up, dressed and went out of the bathroom. I silently closed the door and walked out of his apartment.

I just need a moment alone.

I started my car and drove to the nearest shopping centre. I took the shopping cart and started picking food.
