I woke up to the sun shining on my face. I covered my eyes with my hands.

That was a bad dream.

My head was buzzing, must be from the wine I drank yesterday. I sat on the edge of the bed.

What's that annoying sound?

And where's Neil?

I can't even think straight from how much my head hurts. My eyes itch so much.

I looked around the room.

Where am I?!

I don't know this room. The walls of the room were white. There were two black wardrobes on the left and right of the bed. In front of the bed, there was an enormous window, reaching from ceiling to floor, showing a beautiful field of flowers. I quickly jumped off the bed and ran for the door. Before I could get it, I was pulled down.

My body hit the floor. I let out a grunt of pain.

I looked down at my right ankle, which had a heavy silver chain on it.

What the hell is this!?

Maybe the dream was reality.

Everything sunk in.

I can't believe that Neil could do something like that.

He's a fucking monster!!

Suddenly the door opened. I backed away from it.

"Good morning, Puppy."

"Where are we!?" I shouted.

He stopped mid-step and said: "We're at our new home."

I kept looking at his relaxed expression.

How can he be a killer?

He started walking toward me, and I shouted: "Stop!"

He did so. He kept studying my position on the floor.

"What are you gonna' do to me!? Are you gonna' kill me!?"

He let out a breath of air.

"Nothing changed, Puppy. I'm still madly in love with you. How can I possibly kill you?"

He took a step closer to me, and I crawled back.

"You-you ki-"

"-killed people?" He started walking closer to me while saying: "Oh, I did. All those that died from my hand deserved it."

He's insane!

I started crawling away from him until my back hit the bed.

He leaned down and cupped my left cheek with his warm hand when he reached me.

With gentleness in his eyes, he looked into mine and said: "I love you."

My lips almost moved on their own to reply with the exact words. I covered my mouth with my hand.

His thumb slid under my eyes. "You don't have to say it back."

He let out a breath of hardship before rising and walking to the nightstand. There he meddled with the chain before walking to me. When he reached me, he extended one hand toward me and said: "Now, let's have breakfast."

"No ..."

I don't know this man.

He grabbed my hand and gently pulled me over his shoulder. I let out a loud squeal before starting to fight. He firmly grabbed my thigh. "Puppy, please stop," he said with a dull voice. I stopped.
