I woke up the following morning to an annoying warmth. My head hurt again. I let out a loud sigh while trying to get away from it, but I couldn't. I opened my eyes to see Neil's gentle eyes.

"Good morning, Puppy," he said with a husky voice.

Memories from the previous night washed over me. I want to submerge myself into nonexistence. How could I stumble so low? I can't believe I had sex with Neil Black.

What was I thinking?!

"Don't call me that," I barked back.

He chuckled lightly while tracing the back of his hand over my exposed cheek. I gently pushed his hand away and sat up. I looked around my room, which was full of clothes.

I yawned while moving off the bed. He grabbed my hand and gently pulled me back between the sheets. He looked into my eyes and softly said: "You're so cute in the morning."

I pushed him away and got up. I yawned again.

"Look at my pretty puppy yawn," he immediately commented.

"Stop mocking me," I angrily said.

From the last week or something of crying, drinking and trying not to kill myself it feels refreshing. But at the same time, I have to get back to earth. This between us was just a moment of my weakness. In any shape, way or form it mustn't happen again.

I have to kill these rising feelings of affection toward him.

I can't fancy him!?

"What do you want for breakfast? I don't take no for an answer," he said as he watched me dress up. I picked up his clothes and threw them at him. "Do whatever you want. I'm gonna' prepare for work." Before he could say another word, I walked out. My head is ringing.

I have to treat what happened between us like a hookup.

No feelings involved!

What bugs me the most is what did he try to say before I passed out? I'm definitely not going to ask him, but I still wonder. I'm such a mess.

I walked into the bathroom and sat down on the cold marble floor. My head rested on the cupboard on my right.

Why does it have to be him?

It could have easily been anyone else, but no it had to be Neil.

"Shit!" I shouted when I saw the time.

I quickly put on some makeup and stormed out of the bathroom into my room. I started throwing everything important into my work bag. I moved into the dining room and did the same.

"What's the rush?" Neil said while watching me from between the door frame.

"Do you see the time!?" I shouted back at him.

"I'll pack lunch."

After I packed everything, I walked into the kitchen.

He was sitting on the stool next to the kitchen counter, looking at his phone.

He raised his gaze and said: "Ready to leave?"

"What are you waiting for?! Let's go!" I shouted at him.

We quickly got into his car and made our way to school.

When we got in front of the school, I was already running late. I quickly dashed up the stairs and into the classroom.

The pupils were impatiently waiting in front of the classroom.

"Good morning," I said and unlocked the door. I watched as they made their way inside.
