Two days have passed since the "niece" accident happened and we've been lovely since then. He keeps showering me with attention. I don't want this to end, but the dark cloud of overthinking doesn't want to leave the sky of my mind.

What Jeff, the Geography teacher told me about that jerk still keeps bothering me. I said to myself that I wouldn't think about it, but here I am. I cannot shake off the feeling that he gave me. Maybe something really happened to Steve. What if it's my fault? Maybe-

"What's that beautiful mind of yours overthinking, Puppy?" Neil said as he lowered the book he was reading. He was looking past his reading glasses right into my eyes.

"Nothing," I replied before taking a bite of the toast and honey from the plate in front of me.

He put down his glasses and closed the book he was reading. "Tell me about this nothing. I'm curious." He leaned his head on his hand.

"Nothing special. Something that I heard the other day keeps bugging me. But it's nothing important."

"Tell Master what that is, or do I have to pull it out of you?"

"Whatever."

He raised an eyebrow in surprise and said: "Really?"

I let out an annoying sigh and said: "Can we forget about yesterday?"

"I can't forget what I don't know."

I stayed silent while munching on the food.

"Talk, Puppy."

I just don't want to talk about Jeff with him.

"Nothing! Can you please leave it?"

He leaned across the table, and when he was inches away from me, he seriously said: "I would like to remind you that I don't like to repeat myself."

I looked away before saying: "When I went grocery shopping that day, I met the geography teacher that hangs with Steve." I looked at Neil who only raised a brow.

I continued: "More like he stalked me around the store. He went on about Steve going home being a lie and that I must help him. I tried to get him to go away from me. I didn't pay him any mind! And-"

He cut me off by saying: "Who did you talk to?"

I looked down at the table in silence.

"I asked you a question, Puppy. Now answer."

Without lifting my gaze, I said with a low voice: "Jeff, the Geography teacher."

"Jeff, the Geography teacher?" he said before smiling to himself in anger. His tongue glided over his white teeth.

I quickly looked at him and said: "You see, this is why I didn't want to tell you in the first place. You get jealous too easily! Plus, I did what you said! I stuck to the rules of the game!"

He took a deep breath before saying: "Come here."

"Why-"

"Puppy, it wasn't an option, but an order."

I stood up and walked to him.

"On your knees."

"But I-" I tried to fight, but he just cut me off by repeating the order. In the end, I did what he told me to.

I looked down at the marble floor.

"Look up at me." I forced myself to do what he said.

He examined my face for a moment. His expression slowly softened. "You deserve a treat for being good."
