After Omar proposed to me, I drifted into a deep nap. My body was so tired, but my mind was hopping around with happiness. I'm technically engaged. I'm taken. I even dreamed about my future wedding, and how life would be with Omar.
As soon as I woke up I noticed every person I loved was in the room. Mama, baba, my siblings, Omar, Mr. Parks, Dina. They had a cookie cake in their hands and yelled out congrats. I looked at the cake to see that 'taken' was written on the cake with whip cream.
"Congrats baby!", Dina said as she hugged me.
"Thank you guys", I replied to their kind gesture.
"My baby is gonna be a wifey! And in shaa Allah soon a mommy!", my mom yelled.
"Mama!", I began blushing at the fact that I will start a family in shaa Allah.
After two hours of people congratulating me about my engagement to Omar, I was left alone with Omar.
"Hey Omar, Every one was here today, I don't mean to pry, but where are your parents", I questioned.
"My parents are dead", he replied his eyes staring outside the window.
"Oh, I'm so sorry Omar", I panicked at asking him the question.
"No it's okay, I should have told you, Uncle Dylan took care is me...he plays the role of my dad, and his wife is like my mom", he explained still looking outside the window.
"Uncle Dylan?", I asks in confusion.
"Wells it's Mr. Parks to you", he chucked.
"Wow! Mr. Parks is your guardian! That's so sweet, so does that make him like my father in law", I asked jokingly.
"It kind of does, okay it's 1 am, you need sleep, yallah, we will finish this convo tomorrow", he said as he began tucking me in bed, placing the pillows the way I Like them.
"I'd kiss you goodnight, but you aren't my halal yet. Good night wifey", he winked as he closed his eyes on the couch directly in front of me.
"Good night hubby", I replied in a whisper.

It was Finally time for fajir! My favorite time of the day. Alhamdullah I was able to get up alone and make wudu without any help. I was still in pain, but I could handle it.
I wore a hijab and Abaya, and prayed the sunnah them the fard for fajr. After I Finished I went on to wakeup Omar. I sprinkled water in his face to wake him up for fajr, after three sprinkles in the face he woke up and preceded to the bathroom to make wudu, and to pray fajir.
After he finished he walked to the bed where I was and looked at me confused.
"You prayed right?", he asked.
"Yes", I replied.
"Okay well why do you still have the abaya and hijab on?", he asked.
"Because you are a non mahram and I decided to become a hijabi", I smiled at the fact that I was finally a hijabi.
"Oohhh my wifey so halal! Ma shaa Allah!", his heart smiled which showed im his bright blue eyes.
In shaa Allah our kids have his eyes.
"So are you ready to leave this place?", he asked as he held my bags.
"Yessssss! Oh alhamdulliah, I swear the car isn't what was gonna kill me! Sitting in this place was", I replied.
"Is this what I'm going to have to put up with for the rest of my life", he said confidently.
"Whoa whoa, in that case here is the Ferrero Rocher and the teddy bear, if you can't handle all this", I joked handing the big teddy bear and the chocolates to omar.
