Omar POV

"So I was wondering, I don't want to fall even more in love with you without being married. How do you feel about getting our nikkah done in like the next three days?", I ask quickly.

"I wanted to ask you the same thing! ️Alhamdullah I feel better, and knowing that we are bound together will speed up the healing process", she smiled.

"Im going to go see your dad. In shaa Allah he agrees.", I said nervously.

"So we are going to finish out senior year as a married couple, I like that. We can apply to college together, study together, even carpool", her face turned a deep red and she fell in deep laughter.

"You know relationship goals", I joked.

"Um, did you handle Jake?", she asked changing the subject to a more irritating subject.

"No, but I'm going to handle it", I said sternly.

"Please just be gentle, h-he has had this crush on me since I can remember", she pleaded.

"LAYAAN WHY DO YOU CARE?! Damn it, I love how you have a good heart but this guy needs to know his place, all he does is hit on you! It's not always rainbows. Why are you so nice to him, maybe your niceness is giving him mixed thoughts!", I yelled and walked out of her room.

I didn't mean to yell, or to even say what I said, but the thought of Jake flirting with her, it agitated me. Every convo we have needs to include him! Curse you shaytan.

I got in my car and decided to head home and rationalize what I said to Layaan. As I was driving I noticed Jake in the neighborhood park. I parked my car off to the side and decided to talk with Jake.

I walked up to him to find him drinking alcohol. Great.

"Yo bro", I greeted casually.

"What do you want a**hole", he replied disgusted.

"Wow a**hole, so that is what you call me, okay, well listen I just wanted to settle something", before I could finish he cuts me off.

"No, no, you listen, back the f*** off Layaan. She's reserved.", he explained as he got in my face.

"Yours? Listen, Layaan isn't Bout that life, she doesn't to that crap, Jake please just stay away from her. You don't know how much pain you're causing her", I replied respectfully pulling my fave away from his.

"Leave her alone! Nah we are meant to be, I ain't losing her, get it through your head", he yelled as he banged my head.

My hands were now in fists, this boy really wants to fight.

I let out a burst of anger, "You wnna know something? Layaan is my fiancé, in three days or so she will be my wife. Okay! I suggest you move on. Because Layaan is mine, she loves me, she will be the mother of my children, Im the one who will wakeup to her every morning, Im the one who will see her without hijab. You understand".

Before I knew it Jake threw a punch to the left side of my face. That bastard. Allah help me control my anger.

I walked off as Jake yelled a few last words.

"I will kill you!", he yelled

"If Allah has written that you will kill me then nothing will stop it, and if Allah has written that I will live then nothing you do will stop it. I fear my creator, not creation", I said with a chuckle. I knew his would kill him inside.

After walking to my car I looked at the car window to see the bruise Jake gave me. My Face was now bleeding, this is what I get for yelling at Layaan.

Ignoring the blood on my face, I decided to go to Layaans dads work to talk to him about the nikah.

As I arrive At Uncles dealership I wipe off the blood on my face with a tissue, and head to the door. Bismillah.

"Asslamu alaykum ibny", uncle greets.

"Wa Alyakum asslam" I greet.

"Ibny what happened to your face?" He asks with concern.

"Um I fell from the stairs during fajir, you know just being clumsy", I lied. Thank god the blood was dry or else he wouldn't believe it.

"In shaa Allah khair, so tell me what brings you here?"

"Um uncle, I-I love your daughter and I can't wait any longer. With your permission I was wondering if I could do the nikkah um in the next week?", I ask nervously.

"Is Layaan fine with that? Did you ask her?"

"Yes, we both want to make things officially halal", I reply.

"In that case how can I say no? Better to go the halal route sooner", he smiles.

"How about Friday? Let's have the nikkah next Friday? Do you guys even want a wedding? How about you guess just do it the sunnah way? A dinner with the guests?" He adds.

"Yes! That's perfect! Thank you uncle! Thank you! Thank you!", I run to uncle and give him a hug. This man understands me.

"Okay ibny I'll take care of it", he says as he walks back to his desk.

️Alhamdullah. Now I need to apologize to Layaan.
