Jake POV
I stretched out my hand to the back seats and grabbed a bottle of alcohol. This is what was going to help me call down. I never was into alcohol but ever since I started hanging out with Charlie that's all we ever drank, and boy is it good. After just a few chugs I feel nothing. I pulled my phone from my jeans pocket and dialed Charlie's number, still holding the bottle of alcohol with my other hand. I was just steering with my knees which I was actually good at.
"Yo Jake! What it is bro!", Charlie shouted at me through the phone.
"Nothin man, listen you got some bait? I need to let some steam off".
"Yeaaa buddy! I'll get some now! Come to the mansion in 30 minutes", with that Charlie shut the phone.
I started making my way to Charlie's mansion to handle anger the way Charlie taught me. Violence was key. I never thought I'd be the one to do crap like this, but it made me feel so powerful.
After an hour I reached the mansion where Charlie was waiting for me right at the door.
"What took you so long man?", Charlie questioned angrily.
"I stopped buy a liquor store! Got some drinks for us", I replied with a smirk.
"Ahhh that's my boy!", he yelled pointing his index finger at me.
We walked in the huge mansion and were greeted by beautiful women barely clothed, which I didn't mind. No matter how naked they were, Layaans eyes alone would slay them all.
Charlie left me alone in a company of a beautiful bombshell blonde, she gave me a back massage as I waited for Charlie to get the bait. After falling into a light sleep, I was awakened by the screams of a what looked like to be a women in her mid 30s. She was covered in bruises making her unable to walk right. Next to her was a man, he was rather built, but the facial expression he had on his face gave him a look of a little 10 year old boy.
"There the bait", Charlie pointed at the two standing at my feet.
Charlie handed me a gun and gave me the signal to let it rip. I aimed the gun at the women's head, but the mans screams kept me from focusing on the target.
"Take me! Leave her alone! Do what you want! Take me! Take me! Let her be!", the built man cried holding on to my feet.
"Listen. If I can't have the women I love, what makes you think you should?", I coldly replied to his cries.
I kicked his face off my Jordan's and preceded focusing on the women's head with the gun. I knelt down on my knees looked into her crystal blue eyes, "you got a man who loves you, too bad you won't be alive feel that love", I whispered coldly. Tears began to fill her eyes and I with no hesitation pulled the trigger. Blood washed away the tears that were framing her face. I looked over at her lover to see the pain that would haunt him for the rest of his life, "KILL ME! Kill me! Kill me! Kill me! I can't live without her!", he cried as he held her cold body in his huge arms.
"Naw, what fun would that me? I like seeing people miserable", I smiled as I set the women's body on fire. The man jerked away from the body and put his hands to his eyes.
"You are a monster, go to hell, you suck bastard", he cried.
"Yes, yes I am, you are free to go", I said pointing my finger to the house door for him to leave.
As he walked to the door her turned and left me a couple words, "My name is John, just remember that, because I'll make sure you never find love".
"Good luck with that", I replied unworried at the threat.
John walks off and slams the door making the pictures at the wall shake.
I called over sitra to clean up the blood that flooded the floor, as I walked out the house. I got into my car and decided to visit Layaan at her house to see if she made any progress and to formally apologize for the way I acted at the hospital.
It was only 8 am the birds were chirping and he sun was as bright as ever. I went to Tim Hortan and decided to grab breakfast for Layaan and I as a peace offering.
After ordering breakfast I began driving to her house. As I pulled up on the driveway to her house I cleaned myself up making sure I looked presentable. I noticed my sleeves full of blood, I grabbed a sweater I had in the backseat and put it on allowing the blood to be covered. After making sure not a single drop of blood was seen I made my way to the door and rang the doorbell.
Seconds later I was welcomed by her mom.
"Hi may I see Layaan?", I asked politely.
"Yes Jake! How are your parents?", she asked as she motioned to enter the house.
"Great! Hope your family is also doing well", I replied.
"Yes! Well Layaan is upstairs second door in your left", she explained.
"LAYAAN PUT IN YOUR HIJAB! YOU GOT A GUEST", her mom yelled at the top of her Lungs.
I began Going up the spiral staircases, my heart was beating in all different ways. I was finally going to see her alone without omar. I knocked on the roll door waiting for Layaan to allow me to come in.
"Come in", she said in her sweet angelic voice.
I opened the door only to find her in hello kitty pjs and a black hijab wrapped around her head in a messy manner.
"How's it going? Are you feeling better?", I asked as I opened the box of doughnuts and handed her and iced coffee.
"Better, I mean yea it takes a lot of effort for me to do anything, but it's better than how I was a week ago. Hoes life with you?", I asked as I took a sip of my hot chocolate.
"I would be better if you weren't in this position, listen Layaan I just wanted to apologize...I-I didn't mean what I said, like I know you would never date or have a boyfriend, you ain't about that life. I shouldn't just assume sh*t, you know how I feel about you, I guess I just got jealous...."
I looked into her eyes and suddenly forgot where I was going with this. Her eyes were like the moon, it was hard to not get mesmerized.
"Jake are you okay?", she asked snapping me back into reality.
"Layaan why you? Your eyes, your smile, your hair that I can't see anymore...everything...y-you got me feeling some type of way. I'll do anything, Layaan just a chance", I pleaded with her as I looked straight into her golden eyes.
"Jake, I'm not your girl, I-Im not that pretty so many other girls are so much better than me. It's just right now I can't have a relationship, and don't forget you're not muslim", she replied putting her hand on my shoulder which sent electric shocks through out my body. After 10 seconds she pulled away her arm...right she can't touch a man that's not her bro, dad, uncle, or husband.
"Listen I'll convert! I will! Just for you!", I replied. The words just slipped my mouth, I could never become a muslim. No drinking, killing, girls...no thank you.
"You and I both no you can't be muslim...you don't even like my hijab Jake, I don't want you to convert for me, if you convert I want it to be because you fell in love with the religion not me", she retorted.
"Well you know what Layaan, Im going to keep loving you until I can have you.", I let out my last thought and quickly made my way out of the house. I probably made Layaan mad since this is the second time I just walk out on her, but I didn't want to flip in front of her. Back to my vodka.
